The best and most efficient way to farm El Tears is running dungeons 11-4 or 11-5. I've heard of people getting 4-5 Tears per run with little investment into ERP drop rates.
You have two options:
1. Get void weapon to enter 11-4 (preferably +10, or +9 if you can't afford, but then make sure to get all those stages)
2. Farm money for All Skill Damage El tear to be able to enter 11-4 as well...
After that grind 11-4 to get enough el tears to fill up all the slots in elrianode armors. You also can use the blacksmith to get el tears for not yet filled slots.
Weapon: rank 25 minimum, Boss damage or Mp cost reduction effect and use the +8 amulet from the heroic quests (then replace with Void once you get it/make it more powerful than your weapon)
Top: Attack/Attacked
Bottom: Party's physical attack
Glove: All skill damage (the most important part !)
Shoes: Either boss damage or Mp cost reduction
Note: rank does not matter for armor parts, it's just a bonus if we can say that. Maybe you'll miss 1k Combat Power, but the RNG is already bad so don't make it worst by focusing on high ranked Heroic armors lol
Heroic dungeon is not affected by IDR, but you did well by attributing your ERP in it. It's needed for farming El tears, at least 75 points is recommended. If you can, try to get a +9 amulet from the board while they are cheap for your void weapon. +10 has a massive power spike, but +9 should be enough (Especially as FuB, he's been buffed in the latest balance patch in Kr so we should get that in 1 or 2 weeks)
Don't forget to socket your gears with critical and maximize effects with the magic stones. Considering Furious Blade has 2 passives to increase crit, you should aim for 70% (with passives, it's actually up to 98% and you can always use a Giant Elixir for an additional +10% crit) and at least 70% maximize. Attack speed is also important, make sure to have have around 120% of it (you also have an additional +5% aspd from a passive). You can add a socket slot on your weapon and armors with the wedge (materials and the item itself is available in heroic).
Once you're done with everything said above, you should have at least 130k Combat Power. From there, you can start farming 11-4 in Normal mode, because story mode doesn't drop anything interesting. Like the heroic armors, aim for the effects said above on your Elrianode gear, with Red El tears for the set effect. Some people go full Purple tears because it's way cheaper to get on board, but you miss some damage increase and this can do the difference in long term so I personally say: "avoid the trap"
Once you hit 150k CP, you should focus more on Drabaki raid, 11-5 then 11-3 if you can kill a lot of monsters quickly (11-5 and Drabaki gives more unique tears and you have high chances of having a player that will carry you, but 11-3 is not that bad if you can kill a lot of monsters quickly). 11-4 will then become more secondary as it's only the powders that interest the players, dropping El tears there is not as easy as 11-5.
And from there, I'd advise you to sell the good tears on the board until you get a +10 Void with stage 15. The +10 will really boost your damage and makes it way easier to farm El tears.
Lots of text, but I hope it helped ! o/
Hello, thanks for the detailed response it helepd a lot!
My question is: I already have a "decent" elrianode set, should i give up on it now and just go heroic?
STATS:
Top: El tear lvl 19, hp increase +18120, irrelevant skill, strength skill cd -8%
Bottom: el tear lvl 13, crit dmg +3%, hypersonic stab +10%, party phys attack +7%
Gloves: el tear lvl 27, atk speed 4%, irrelevant skill, mp cost-7%
Shoes: El tear lvl 15, maximize 3.5%, irrelevant skill, During cmd attack, lower defense by 2% (up to 10 stacks)
These stats on my elrianode seem pretty good so im not sure whether i should abandon it for the moment.
Heroic: Wrath Blade: rank 25, ignore magical defense 13%, shoot up genocide 10%, I added a few mystic stone enchants to this sword but nothing special, just a few 1.1% awaken duration and moving speed.
Based on these stats should I still go Heroic armor set or just focus on my weapon as of right now?
All Skill Damage +32% for example costed me below 300m so its pretty affordable and is very noticeable. other than that I must say you have good tears... (a bit low levels on [balance] el tears but they only affect defense)
Lastly, what should i spend kching on to improve my combat. I already have ring of flexibility (ii). Anything else worth noting?
But if you haven't already - you should get an IB costume and a IB weapon and socket those for extra stats...
After that all you can do is increase enhancement level of your weapon (once it's a void weapon) and armor (up to +10 so you can use three [transformation] el tears)
It seems like there's not much to do at this point, but this very "not much" is how I spent 1k hours in this game.
Also another good example of an el tear is attack/attacked damage, i forgot on what part it is but it also boosts cp nicely. And try to get a good title that gives stuff. (resistant to destiny(10-6 x800) is best for cp / The title you get for 300 el rewards is also pretty decent, and a bit less monotonous to get...)
If you want to improve your Combat power with K-ching, I'd say you should buy a strengh ring (as FuB can run easily a Strengh skill set up) and a Ring of Fury (it gives a surprisingly good amount of CP, and you'll usually stay in 3 beads awakening for days with it). If you feel lucky and want to gamble, you could try to buy IBs for the set and burn them yourself. If you don't, you can always sell your K-ching to other players, then buy the set on the board (Current rates are between 50M / 100 K-ching and 60:100)
As for a title to grind (because I see some recommandations above :D ), I'd suggest you to get the title obtainable by exchanging 300 El rewards to Ariel: effects are great, you'll be running SDs which give decent exp for your ERPs, you can either throw the barrier's fragment for additionnal El rewards or you can sell them for a decent amount of money on the board, and having the title gives a 15% chance to get an additional title count when completing a requirement for other titles. The title can be used to grind better titles faster later and is great in every endgame dungeon with a party, because triggering the fever effect with the awakening is excellent when it comes to support.
I often see ppl advertising selling kching 60:100 but im not sure how the process works? How do I 'give" someone kching? Do they go first? Shld I look out for certain scams?
Other than that, I already have ring of flexibility. I got it cause finishing slash seems really crucial in FuB pve. Can I keep it cause i spent 700kc on it alredy :P.
EDIT: cant find the IB set on the market (prob cause theywant iceburners to sell). Looks like I have to sell kching for them :P
Thanks to you guys so much again !!!!
For example a person might want 500kc -> they want an item that is worth 500kc.
You buy an item, trade it to them. It can be risky only on the level of "they may suddenly not want the item after offering", other than that... There is no risk in losing said item because they then have to buy it from you using the in-game trade system.
You should use megaphones / public chat in crowded regions (But megas should be pretty easy to get either way, for example from Ariel) to advertise that you have kc to sell, mentioning amount and rate :3
