From Xtrap to Xigncode than from Xigncode to Xtrap, then from Xtrap to Xigncode, then from Xigncode to Gameguard, to Xigncode again then to Gameguard, then now to Xigncode lol.
You get the point
Ah ok thanks then i will avoid this game.
@devs if you actually want to get more players then remove your rootkits cause they dont stop cheaters and are onley used to spy on the players. or go easyanticheat cause atleast that one is not that intrusive.
onley script kiddies get banned by useless rootkits like xign, the real cheaters wont be stopped and meanwhile they put hard to remove rootkits on our pc thats basicly spyware.
The anti cheat KOG used never stay in my pc when I delete the game and they never run when Elsword not running, they are no where near level of a spyware. The engine manage to stop the randos from changing the game files, that's more than enough. The cheat engine that can completely stop hackers does not exist, the most optimal way to keep hacker at bay is to identify the hacker and ban them from progressing further into the game. All veteran players will easily see through you if you hack the game and the game has built in camera, meaning anything abnormal will be known by the GMs only in a matter of time, and even if you are not hacking, you are still likely to get reported.
appearently they use Xign and Xign is very well known for staying on your pc hidden even after you uninstall the games it comes with.
you can say its not spyware but in the end it is a korean piece of spyware thats indeed spying on your pc.
Korean “anti cheat” rootkits are very well known for not being able to stop cheaters, being very hard to remove even after you uninstall the game and for spying on the players.
That's how anti-cheat work lol. Apparently you are under illusion that a proper anti-cheat program can somehow make a game hack-proof by just being there. Have you ever read term of service when you download the game? They always told you that they will be logging your system entry every time it runs in case you are running 3rd person program. The log they compiled are sent to the server so GMs can inspect and identify violators. That's how they been stopping hackers for over a decade. If you can proposed a better anti-cheat solution go to a tech firm and sold the idea, they will buy it for million dollars.
And no, I have install and uninstall this game on multiple hardware, I would easily know if it still there. I used to install this game on a portable hard drive with it's anti cheat engine on it and play on different PCs, they worked and both the game and the engine was easily removed afterward. There is no evidence for your theory.
I am not sure where you get that "there's plenty of hackers" when most of the hackers "hack alone or with people they know". Don't make up fact if you don't have it. And if there is actually plenty of hackers, how many of the banned are actually innocent? You would be surprised how shameless scammers and hackers can be. They won't admit their wrong doing until the very last moment they are presented with irrefutable evidence. A lot of people got banned but they try to make themselves look innocent to confused people and the GMs into letting them off the hook. I got 1000 hours in steam version alone, and another 700 hours before the steam version existed, and I can tell you that not many of those people that got banned were actually innocent, and a lot of them were VERY vocal. The story you heard are not the story you knew.
And I am saying again, the perfect anti cheat tools does not exist. This is how anti cheat engine actually work and they do not make the game hack-proof. There is no such game that can't be hack. The anti-cheat engine make sure hackers are met with repercussion once the players bring them up to the GMs. If they are banned it means the anti-cheat engine shown there are abnormalities while the players are running the game, then they are not innocent.
No, you shoud not be surprised, the game never hide anything from you. You should have already knew this if you actually smart. A lot of people trying to make themselves look smart by talking about technical stuffs they don't actually understand, but forgot the most basic interaction of a software user; that is read the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Term of Service. It is very clear that they already specifically asked you that the game would collect your hardware information BEFORE you install the game on your computer.
You can re-read the Term of Service here: https://elsword.koggames.com/pptou/termsofuse.html
Let me quote from the ToS in case you miss them:
Hackers won't go out of their way to post their tickets on forums or to spread their case to other players for awareness/help when they know full well what they did, UNLESS they are innocent. Why? Because it's in vain and they most likely move on immediately. If you want ME to show you proof then go search for yourself in this forum or on the Elsword reddit, because I'm not gonna waste anymore time and energy on people like you.
Stating how much hours you play doesn't mean ♥♥♥♥ dude, lol. But, if you're gonna go that route then I guess: I can also tell you that many innocent players are banned for stupid reasons or mistakes made by the GM team that are hard set on their final decision even if they realized their mistake (unless there's some sort of change in the ToS or abuse of powers).
More so than guilty players being banned that made an offense (on purpose), if not then just as much. And this is coming from a veteran player that has been playing Els since 2011.
P.S. - I don't give two ♥♥♥♥♥ about anti cheat engines or whatever you have to say about them. I'm only in this thread because I was answering the OP's question and then you came along spamming ur posts to him cuz u got ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ triggered.
And my second post wasn't even a direct reply to you, so idk why you feel the need to reply to it but yeah, just repeat exactly what I said to make yourself look like a bigger idiot lol.
I said I wasn't surprised, yet your making it seem like this is new to me. You should have already understood that I'm fully aware and shouldn't have commented any further, if you were actually smart. I'm making it blantly obvious that I expected this, so why are you explaning this ♥♥♥♥ to me huh, smartass? I don't need to read the entire ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ToS to figure that ♥♥♥♥ out u pleb, since how else will they find hackers, make logs for statistics/references, etc. Reading that entire ToS ♥♥♥♥ is just a waste of time, just like reading ur ignorant posts. You have the IQ of a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Mosquito bro, so kindly gtfo lmaooo
I am merely trying to explain you what you don't know and prevent false/out of context information from being spread. You also have admitted your short coming that you indeed do need my help. I don't know if I offend you but if you do, kindly forgive me, get a cup of water and calm down.
OP was lacking of actual knowledge how cheat engine work, so I was merely provide him the information he lacks. Not reading ToS is a common mistake people often make. Not give one or two ♥♥♥♥ about it doesn't change the fact that you have consent to KOG to let them leach your pc information. Regardless, this is a post about anti-cheat engine, if you don't plan to "give two ♥♥♥♥" about the MAIN TOPIC, you should honestly unsubscribe to the topic.
Even if you hacked, an invested account can be valuable. It is common for hackers to make a big fuss about it, either they gain support helping them getting their account back, or they won't get their account but they can still discredit KOG staffs and lower their reputation, make them more hestitate to ban them again in the future. In contrary, it is much less likely KOG would abuse their ban hammer on the very people that feeding them. There is a good reason why NA is practically hacker free with hacker very rarely seen while void server is constantly plagued with hackers roaming freely.
Being able to play this game as toddler is a great feat, your parent must be proud.
Thanks for kindly making time to reply to me. However, I expect that you would actually say something more related to topic. And yes you do need to read entire ToS, as the moment you started playing the game, you have already acknowledge you have responsibility as a user to read the ToS. Not reading it means that you forfeit your right to complain as you already neglected your duty.
I don't think I am acting smartass, you just a bit lacking in certain necessary department. I suggest you stop participating in discussion that is clearly outside your comprehension and go back to sparring room and practice those Elboi dancing moves.
