How to solve not progress saving and no sync
Well, since few days I had this annoying problem.
When you play the game the progress is not saved and is loaded from a specific part.

Erasing the Mk9gset does not fix the issue, so I read some topics and to fix this is to delete the "remotecache.vdf" located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\99612861\237110 where 99612861 it depends of your Steam user, but the 237110 is the game number so will be ever the same. And only that, erasing the "remotecache.vdf".

Hope this be useful for future problems, I don't know which things cause this (maybe loss of electric power).

Have you tried checking the game's Integrity cache?

This topic isn't a bug or error report is a help to fix the problem, but yeah I'd done all the basics ways to fix but nothing happened, but was fixed with the solution I've posted

I don't appear to have 237110, is there any other number it could possibly be?

non-steam or steam?

plz also read: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\99612861\237110 where '99612861' it depends of your Steam user".

The 237110 is the Game ID so it will never be another than that number.

Steam, I have read that post, and my number is different from yours, but I do not have a 237110 folder, I have made the options.ini and dxdiag documents read only if that has anything to do with it, I could uninstall and then install it again, but I'm keeping that as a last resort, it's getting annoying that I can't make any progress

I had opened a few of the other numbers that there were, all of them that I checked had remotecache.vdf so I don't know which one I would delete, or are they all the same file? I'll do it anyway and give you results

For reference (and cross posting wherever I see this problem) I had this problem and I solved it by:

1. Going to the directory: ...\237110\remote\user
2. Making backup copies of mk9gset and mk9pset
3. Deleting the originals
4. This should force Steam to replace them with Cloud save copies
5. Now options can be changed and progress saved. Yay. :imachamp:

Hope this helps anyone having the same problem.

It doesn't work, I stoped playing this game years ago, but come back now to try to get all achievements. But the stats won't save, it always resets to what it were before. I'm stuck and can't find a solution. I tryed to delete the saves and do the achievements in a clear save with all stats back to 0. But it stills won't save, when I close and open again the timer of the figthers go back to 0.

So, after coming back to the game I finally expirienced that nasty bug myself - the game didn't save anything, even the round time settings. And it didn't erased my save file, it just didn't wanted to re-write it.

After half a day I found a solution which helped me to get back on track with my progress, and since I haven't seen it anywhere on these forums I decided to post it as a guide - hope it will help someone: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3282989373
