The aggregate of bad netcode, no connection quality filter, and a broken region filter (matches people that are overseas on "Close") leads to games with considerable input lag more often than not. Character selection not being blind is another strike against this game's online since one can easily wait for counter picks and the hidden cursor keeps a player from being able to see their own cursor.
Multiplayer in this game is inherently unfair since a programming error gives Player 1 trade advantage. This game also has several glitches which break the game. Here are some examples:

Invisible Projectile Glitch

The glitches are in every version of the game.
Yeah, but still it would be nice to get the komplete edition (low priced) too though (imho)..
Btw, when does your egg hatch? You've been brooding it quite some time now, haven't you?
All I'm doing is answering the topic creator's question by proving that this game isn't worth buying due to the plethora of game breaking glitches. It isn't my fault that the sales for this game and Injustice caused the increase in the number of threads asking if the game is worth purchasing.
2. Can we avoid the Player 1 advantage in local multiplayer (= 2 players in the same room, fighting each other)? What about in online? Or the issue is present in both local and online?
Thank you in advance.
1) I don't know how familiar you are with fighting games, but trading hits means that if both P1 and P2 do moves at the same time, then both players will get hit. In this game, P1 will always do damage, but P2 won't and P2 will stay in hitstun longer, which gives P1 time to do mix-ups or possibly combo afterwards.
Basically, P2 is always at a disadvantage in the neutral game because P1 will almost always outpoke P2. Fighting games normally have traded hits as I described, but this game technically doesn't have trades due to the P1 Advantage error. P1 simply wins all the time when attacks hit at the same time.
2) Nope, P1 has trade advantage in every mode and format of play. There is no way to avoid it and it's impossible to fix without NRS re-writing the whole game.
