Monster Tamers and Farmers!
We are getting closer to the 1.0 update and just around the corner is the 1 year launch anniversary. We have come so far and still so much work to do!

Planned features Features that made it in this update

Umbra Wilds - Island exploration is now available! You can begin the quest speaking to a new camp located south of Palmshore. This will begin your journey to create a boat that will be available in your boathouse (once you upgrade it) and include quite a few things!

4 new Monsters (Nephlume, Nephlord, Wyrmie, Mantiraith)
3 large maps to explore
5 new build areas
Antique decoration set (Bed, chair, couch, multiple tables, wall art and much more)

Fossil Museum - Scattered around the world will be areas that you can now dig up with your shovel giving you valuable fossils. These fossils can be given to a new town build area in Fenland Village once it has been built. Complete the set and get access to 1 of 2 rare monsters (Choice between Scorchip or Burmadon) both of which have an evolution.

Upcoming Features

Relationships and marriage are currently in the works! Please feel free to let me know what you think, i'll TLDR it here but if you are interested, there is a steam discussion on the topic.

Romancing will have 4 stages. Friendship -> Dating -> Marriage -> Children

To start, 6-8 candidates will be romancable. More information available as we get closer (or in the steam discussion)

- Bookshelf added to Levi's house to explain farm room system

- Monsters without assigned personalities from previous updates will get a random one

- Recall monster button shows when monster is in control (again)

- Mining set now gives 15% chance to increase ore dropped by 1

- Inventory item info panel larger size on mobile devices

- Collecting honey from Apiary now adds "Wilderness" exp to player

- Mobile fishing buttons will always show even with controller connected

- Mobile dragging object no longer triggers move when going over buttons

- Only 1 monster can help forge at a time

- Mine creation timeout increased to 15 seconds for older devices

- Player eating food now reduces the one used if multiple (or diff quality) in inventory

- NPC emojis now always show up in front of objects in the map

- While entering the mine elevator, if monster is further than 15 tiles, it no longer walks to you

- Follow monster no longer jumps ledges with you if in stay mode

- Certain ground objects can no longer have items placed above them (ie. Treadmill)

--- Bugs ---

- Can see the barn from inside the raider hideout

- Random teleport from vicevale raiders to barn

- Fossil museum loading wrong data in cloud loud causing game lock

- Rare mobile issue where fishing buttons will not appear and it detects a ghost controller

- Tap to move toggle not saving between sessions

- Regrowable crops show wrong days left when watered vs not

- Missing translations

- Certain farm rooms not registering properly (Artisan Chamber -> Apothecary)

- Mon bathroom not being used

- Interacting with farm monster while the are transporting an item, drops it on the ground

- Monster beds staying occupied after waking them while they are sleeping

- Skill books can be used infinitely until closing the use item menu

- When 2 monsters are helping forge and one leaves, timer stops going down

- Merchant NPCs that move can start walking while you are shopping

- Fish on tv screen staying open when switching to weather

- Rare error when closing monster summary from cloud menu

- Error when getting fossils without shovel in inventory

- Mining life level increase affecting all crafting items instead of just ore bars

- Museums show items not donated upon startup or first update

- Random portal at boathouse on east side when walking up against it

- Soft lock when trying to break training equipment down

- Monster workout infinitely on the same machine... all day

- Face accessories meant to mask all hair not working when quit to main -> back in game

- Occasional item stack issue in the inventory making it look like there are no more spaces left

- Potions in battle causing double attacks

- Some items usable when they aren't supposed to be

Bug?

I don't know if it's a bug or intentional, but when I use a potion on my monster, the enemy hits me twice when dealing damage, and this happens 100% of the time. This makes it very difficult to heal against enemies that deal so much damage that it's more worthwhile to let them kill than to lose my potions....

Hello Monster Tamers and Farmers!

Due to the overwhelming negative reviews recently with the controls, I have temporarily removed controller support from the store page. The game will still allow controllers but to save face, I can't confidently say it is a feature.

The latest patch will address the long requested a/b swap along with other known issues. Rest assured I am on the scene to fix everything else in hopes to redeem the latest reviews.

--- Controller ---

- A/B on controller officially set to default pattern for accept/close

- Actions sometimes acting twice with one click

- Safe area set around mobile dpad to not allow click to move or interactions

- Cycling monster in storage summary with l1/r1 not working

- When splitting with controller, item stays hovering after exit

- Exit "Account exists menu" doesn't work when clicking back button

- R2 causing issues in Chronomon PC (removed button, legacy code)

- Opening top menu in start menu causes soft lock, unable to navigate

- Using touch screen in keyboard causes focus lost in keyboard menu

- On Controller, battle system remembers the previous move used

- Some UI polish and transitions added

- Hot bar toggling off then on between clearing debris removed

- Removed birthday from player menu and added to calendar

- Control mapping now shows up in settings if controller is on and on mobile

- Player tech levels have their own menu with more information

- Additional symbols added to in-game keyboard menu

- Infinite rock smash on mobile when holding interact and not releasing

- Soft lock during first farm monster tutorial if exiting before finishing dialog

Wooden/Park Bench?

Anyone who where to find/how to get this? Need 2 to finish the 'scene layout' just north of the first town and even though I've been checking the shop regularly I've never once seen the bench.

EA .8049 Fishing Channel + Fixes

Update .8049! Fishing Channel && Bug Fixes

There were a few rare but important bugs to address so this patch was pushed out to address them. I want to also address a few controller issues where a/b for dialog advancing are swapped. For anyone with the issue, disabling auto steam input in the controller settings before starting the game will fix this. The next update will have this automatically handled as well.

I'm amazed after a year since EA launched that bugs are still popping up. Good news is they are on the rarer side and will be addressed like any monster tamer; Full force.

--- Upcoming Features ---

We have a few features that I planned for 1.0! I will be working on them over the coming weeks.

Boathouse Island Exploration
The boathouse will soon transport you to a faraway island, ripe with new opportunities and hours of exploration and fun.

Multiple new maps to explore including a tiny broken down village you can help repair
New Chronomon to battle and catch
Find all NPCs and convince them to join the new village
Many new buildable areas to craft and clear for
New craftables and farm decorations

Solaris Town Build

Solaris's first town build will have a giant battle tower, similar to the arena but deeper mechanics for the end game players. (similar to Pokemon Battle towers)

Marriage and Romance

It was and still is my intention to add deeper NPC gameplay, allowing players to date and marry other select NPCs and have them join you on your farm. Let me know who you want to flirt with! Marriage will not be gender bound but will have "heart events" that determine how you want to move forward. Join our discord and let me know what you want to see.

Multiplayer

I have been wishy-washy on this subject but after reading a few user comments, I do believe taking the extra time for multiplayer will be a net positive no matter how absurdly hard it is to implement. I have always stood by making Chronomon for the player and by the player. This will absolutely push 1.0 back but I just know it will be worth it. PLEASE let me know what specific multiplayer features you want to see and help shape what you want from Chronomon.

- Some collisions missing inside towns

- Undisclosed item duplication bug

- Recalling monster as live battle initiates

- Random night encounters sometimes spawn unrelated weak chronomon

- (Rare) Area pop up is small after sleeping then exiting quickly

- Monster attack animation moving them at start of battle to different location

- Running from multiple monster back to back causing soft-lock

- Mines sometimes staying lit for a few seconds when entering

- Trainer battles sometimes summoning mon into objects/walls

- Camera in PVP sometimes making background all black

- Battle camera not waiting for mon to stop moving before setting zoom level

- Ladder spawning off center when live battling in the mines

- Seeds not using sometimes -> Farm perk LV 10 not activating properly

- Certain trainers not leaving the battle and turning off instantly

- New farm debris not setting to current season sprite
