Plane controls are completely broken

The mouse still controls camera but in the opposite direction you mvoe it's unusable

Yeah totally. Who ever coded plane controlls should do something else. Controlls of the Copter are good but the controls of the plane are a nightmare.

Planes handling is indeed not great, but flying a helicopter is no problem at all its fine

I figured out if you use the bomb sights it starts working properly, even if you don't have bomb sights you can press the button

So it's just a bug

Not even the plane controlls are bad, also the controlls of that water vehicle you have to use in one of the water races. totally unplayable.

i realized i was crashing because mouse movement has the same function as wsad. i was trying to look around and the plane would jsut tumble out of control.
yup flying with mouse is the way to go

Considering how controller friendly FC5 was when flying planes or helicopters, one has to wonder whatever would inspire the developers to change it. The intelligent thing to do would have been to simply have given a "Classic Controls" option. Whoever thought it would be a good idea to make the controller command to turn left or right, as the same controller command to roll left or right, should definitely be fired. If one looks on the controller options for planes, there isn't even an option listed for dropping bombs. Operating any type of vehicle in this game with a controller is overwhelmingly frustrating, and it really shouldn't be. Ubisoft should have simply left it the same as Far Cry 5 and New Dawn, which made driving vehicle so much fun.

It is *very* obvious the team(s) behind FarCry 5 was nowhere near this game. How sh*t planes was to fly in FC5 it 100 times better than this pos.
Driving isn't great either but at least its not complete arse
Helicopters are easy though.
