One shows you loot, Chorizo can heal you, another shows you alarm systems, etc. ... If you use them correctly and don't play for easy, they can be helpful. But unfortunately they often get in the way.

ya i wish you could walk through them then i might use amigos, but they have blocked me at doorways too often when ♥♥♥♥ is going down. Bad design , like so many things. still great a game though

Even the "stealth" 'amego' is loud, stupid, and gets in the way. Plus the UI is terrible, most of the time they won't direct properly.

Amegos' are handicaps.

Can't stand AI companions. By the time they complete a stealth takedown I can kill half or all the guards at an outpost with a suppressed rifle. A lot of the time they just stare at their targets for several seconds before they even move. Only play with them for uplay challenges

for me I just use poison rounds and all the enemies turn on each other, it saves ammo lol, doesn't work on ones that spray poison though they are obviously wearing protective gear to it

Chorizo is my favorite lil sausage, he’s adorable and he points out loot/salvage I may have otherwise missed.

I keep him around for fun, I don’t really care about using amigos.
