On the topic: here's hoping this Hitman game is more in the spirit of previous Hitman entries. It doesn't even have to be a B.M. clone but I have a feeling Hitman fans would prefer that :D.

I enjoyed Absolution too, but this is not as "Hitman"ish as it should be. The story was awful. The only good story was in Hitman: Codename 47. Hitman do not need a big story at all ("Hitman: Contracts" as examle).

You do know that IO Interactive actually made an apology letter to the fans for Absolution right? The game isnt a Hitman game. It doesnt play like any other game in the series. It plays more like the newest Splinter Cell games. When the developers say the game turned out bad it's more than a simple opinion.

Analogy here is that both games wasn't real successors as it was expected by fans. But they both created their own fanbase. Real successors will be after them. Fallout NV was for the fans of Fallout 1-2, and Hitman(2015) for the fans of Hitman C47-SA-C-BM.

What are you talking about? Hitman Absolution was almost the same as blood money, contract, codename 47 and silent assassin, the differences are only the rifles can be in your inventory, you can't choose your weapons and First Person view removed. But i hope those thing will come back in the new one.

So the levels weren't linear and were an open sandbox right? Yeah they weren't. Please don't ever say that Absolution was almost the same as Blood Money or any other Hitman game. The disguise system wasn't even the same as the previous games.
