Lethal Poison Frustration

I dislike the way they have implemented the lethal poison into the Paris mission...

As far as I can tell the only way to obtain the lethal poison is by meeting with Dalia as Kruger. So in order to complete the two poison related challenges you are forced to follow the Kruger line of events, which I feel slightly impacts the sandbox aspect.

Some form of lethal poison should have been issued as an unlockable item, you unlock sedative (which I have not actually used at all so far), so surely this lethal poison could have been given as an unlock too?

Either that or the lethal poison should be present in her room regardless of whether you did all the Kruger stuff or not. I don't like the idea of having to follow that one specific chain of events multiple times just to obtain the poison.

Maybe having access to the poison from the start of the mission would have made it too easy, but its not like killing with poison is going to give you access to higher scores because people are going to find the bodies (I can't see lethal poison kills counting as accidents).

I love the game regardless, this just seems like a little bit of an oversight.

well it cant...where is cyanide?? there is no poison unlockable, juist the sedative

I've got the cyanide without the Kruger disguise before, you just need to trigger the event so he starts talking on his cellphone then wait upstairs, he'll eventually come but it does take a while for it to happen. Obviously you'd need a auction guard disguise to access the room it's in.

You can bring in lethal poison from planning or you can pick up the two rat poison units in the downstairs kitchen behind that bar. Helped me get the poison challenges easily.

well im confused then is sedative poision a lethal dose or is it just a sedative?? bc u dont unlock any other poisions aside from the syringe which cant be used to poison objects for some stupid reason

The poison you unlock with level mastery can't be used to poison food or drinks.

Does anyone know if killing them with the poison syringe is valid for the poison challenges? Or are the cyanide capsules the only way?

For Knockout Punch you need to poison the cocktail, there is no way you can do that with the syringe.
To Your Good Health only says to poison Dalia, but I tried killing her with the syringe and it didn't complete the challenge.

So yes, it appears you can only use the capsules.

I used rat poison found in the kitchen for Knockout Punch - Viktor goes to the bathroom and can be drowned there and hidden in closet....

I did a little experimenting because a few people have claimed to completing the challenges (Knockout Punch and To Your Good Health) by using rat poison.

I just completed the mission by using rat poison on both Viktor's cocktail and Dalia's drink, I then follow them both to the bathroom and drown them, neither poison challenge completed.

For kicks I also used the sedative on both drinks too see what would happen, and these too did not complete the challenges Knockout Punch or To Your Good Health.

So to complete these two challenges you are required to use the lethal poison from the Kruger event.

I still stand by the idea that the stringe should be able to poison drinks like it could in blood money, but oh well....

whatever you will unlock, paris mastery will stay at level 20. no new stuff here m8
