Difference Between Editions

I am playing the whole franchise for the first time and just finished Absolution.

Is there any difference between this version of the game (Hitman 2016)
and the version that is included in Hitman 3 - World of Assassination?

I will eventually buy Hitman 3, but should I do it now and not install this game at all?
Like, any difference in performance? Maybe some addition content?

yes hitman 3 doesn't have all hitman 2016's escalations and challenge packs

there is difference in performance as this is on an older engine and it's not as optimized

The main campaign is the same and there're notable better gameplay mechanics that have been implemented in the newer game.
Hitman World of Assassination (Hitman 3) also contains all three games in the series and includes new game modes that are not present in Hitman 1.

Ideally would be best play Hitman World of Assassination as it takes the same HD space of instal and better game mechanics - but - if you start with this one is also ok.
