Sniper suitcase ?

So i got this game for free with my new graphic card (not gonna complain ^^). I have unlocked a sniper rifle (jager 7). However i wonder how am i supposed to carry it to a "bird's nest" if its on my back ? Can you unlock a rifle suitcase later ? I hope so cause and i prefered the iconic sniper rifle with wooden parts. Also weapons looks silly when holstered magically on your back (and the back of guards).

No briefcase yet, but there are hints it will appear in a future mission (along with a better sniper rifle).

You can carry the rifle on your back without suspicion if you're dressed as a bodyguard.

IO did a quiz on their website not a long time ago which asked various questions such as 'would you want us to add - the briefcase -human shields -difficulty settings -weapon customization -weapon unlocks and you had to choose the 3 most important out of the 5, so I'm thinking the briefcase was along the highly voted and it'll be back

The briefcase is apparently already coded in, and was available via the console in the alpha.
There were a few other gadgets too that already work in-game that just aren't unlockable yet!

I can think of one situation where you need the sniper rifle in the Paris mission, and you can do it suit only without being seen.

Yeah, I hoped there'd be a suitcase for your sniper too but as others have said, a bodyguard disguise works fine. Hopefully it'll be in episode 2 because the trailer seems to show opportunities to snipe.

If you use the scope, you can also see some cool details and Easter Eggs. Try looking at the computer tablets in the auction room, or the cocktail recipe in the basement ...
