hitman absolution graphics vs hitman 2016 ? which is better ?

hitman absolution is a 2012 game but it.s graphics are amazing better than a 2016 game
what about hitman 2016 ?

Really? You think HA have better graphic than 2016 games? I actually feels the graphic is ugly, not to mention the bloom effect make everything shiny I have to turn it off.

H6 have much much better graphic than H5.

Linear Absolution suck in all ways

I confirm Chaos' observations. The graphics is much better in the new Hitman even though I have everything on low except the "level of details", which is on medium.

Hitman is a very beautiful looking game you can't deny that whether you are a fan or not.

Considering graphic quality the new Hitman should be slightly better compared to Absolution. The real difference will be the content, mission design and so on. Absolution put the goal quite high already with maps like Hope or some others.

Paris is of course already a nice map but also a bit boring until we get the other main missions.

Y'all must be blind. Hitman 2016 is basically Absolution but without the cinematic effects (luckily) and worse secondary characters modeling.

Thats true. That was also my first notice that the npc models are a bit dull like puppets while in Absolution i can remember they were more lively. But the architecture has more details and of course higher resolutions and lightning effects and so on compared to Absolution.

The game looks way smoother and detailed than ever before - less noticeable aliasing, nice atmospheric lighting and shadows, smooth player movement, etc. The lush details of the environment and the checkpoint-free sandbox style make the game insanely immersive for me.

The only way they could screw this up is if they somehow drop the ball on the upcoming levels. We'll hafta wait and see, I guess.

I actually haven't noticed this, but it's probably the trade-off between a free-roaming environment vs a linear one like in Absolution. Considering that a lot of Absolution was more or less on rails with far less NPCs than previous Hitman games, it would've been easier to make each character more animated and "alive".

It's a shame that so much money went into Absolution - imagine this game if they had the budget to try to create a AAA blockbuster like they did w/ Absolution. I guess they aren't willing to take any more financial risks after the lukewarm reception the last game got.

Most people don't play Hitman for the story. 47's a faceless generic character that I never really cared much about, even tho I did enjoy the plots of the older games well enough, esp the flashback plot in Contracts.. They could just take the story out altogether and focus on polishing up the game and I wouldn't care. All they need is the bare minimum to give players an excuse to kill people in hilariously twisted ways.

Only the first episode has been released so far, we only know a small fraction of the story.

Hitman obviously has better graphics but I like Absolution a lot more, visually.
