I have the same exact low fps points in the game.
Otherwise, the game runs anywhere from 35-60 fps.
GTX760
i7-2600K
16gb ram
@1080p resolution
What is your configuration?
i7-4702MQ
8 gigs of ram
but i have to run it at 720p :p
Unfortunate, I agree. But personally, I choose playability > graphics.
Even if it means lowering settings.
I switch between 1080p and 1650x1080 to help framerate a bit. It's really just a few areas where the fps dips, though.
It's interesting to see the FPS of someone with a similar rig to mine.
GTX980
i72600
8GB RAM
I never dip below 50FPS on 1080 with everything maxed out, I'm guessing the people who say Hitman is very CPU dependant are wrong because your CPU is more powerful than mine, but apparently my better GPU makes the difference.
8650G 768MB VRAM

Jesus just buy a console and play it there. PC gaming is not for you
I upgraded from an i5 3570k 3.4ghz to an i7 6700k 4.2ghz and immedietly saw an increase of at least 20fps in areas of the Paris Showstopper level (including the fountain in the front yard).
It most certainly is a CPU intensive game. But yes, a good GPU is needed as well.
"I'm guessing the people who say Hitman is very CPU dependant are wrong because your CPU is more powerful than mine"
How do you know his CPU is overclocked to such an unbelieable extent that it's SO MUCH more powerful than yours? They're both 4/8 threaded you derp. And let me guess; The people who are wrong, are people on 2 cores or maybe even 4?
He even said he prefers playability over graphics, which indicates he HASN'T everything maxed out like you have - Moreso: ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 2gb VRAM versus 4-8gb >.<
The level of stupidity.... cannot compute..
A guy in this thread upgraded from a 4 cored i5 to a skylake i7 and got a +20 fps boost.
But let me guess, we're still wrong - It's not CPU intensive indeed.
"ow yeah very gpu intensive! i don't notice much difference between my cpu on 2.4ghz or 3.4ghz though"
ow yeah. Lower clock speeds = doesn't equal fewer threads.
While certainly below the recommended clock speeds you still have a bundle of more threads to work with than others might have.
I sincerly hope none of you have the ability to vote in your countries.
my laptop, thanks for all of the opinions!
