Why does Agent 47 kill for free now? What happened to reward money for the contracts?
Great game, but I've got a lot of complaints. #1 lack of GOOD customizable weapons. #2 Body armor and lack thereof. #3 Why aren't we being paid for these high profile contracts???

He is it's just you don't see the money in any way, like in the new elusive targets she says the money has been wired to your account
Uh... No thanks May 9, 2016 @ 10:43am
There was a hitman game that used to pay for that? which one? "new to hitman series"

lol no.

Each level had a cash amount you were given based on performance. That money was then used to purchase things like weapon upgrades on subsequent contracts. There was also a persistent noteriety system where performing poorly in a mission would cause guards and such to respond to your suspicious activities faster in later missions, so money could be used to pay bribes and such to bring down your noteriety.

I too miss the cash system. Though they could pretty easily change the scoring system that is in the game to money by sticking a dollar sign in front of it. Though I understand it would serve no actual purpose without the customization/purchase of weapons.

Absolution had a similar system in Contracts mode, though the customization of your weapons wasn't quite as extensive as Blood Money's. There were more weapons overall in Absolution, however.

Any idea if they are bringing that into this hitman?, and is it worth picking up hitman at the moment?

I'm referring to HItman Blood Money. It's like they've been moving in the wrong direction with the franchise.

Blood Money is still good. The Ai is stupid, but the weapons were WAY better. I guess I'm the only one who liked being a paid assassin.

They just replaced money with a score.... whereas before they replaced a typical "score" with "money" it's the same thing only it's got a different label... same exact mechanics. Bonuses for not being seen, penalties for killing non targets, stuff like that. It's literally the same exact thing just they actually decided not to go with the cheesy money label on it this time. And instead of "buying" things we just earn them by completing tasks.

Glad you're on board with the whole "score" system. Even though it's worthless. You earn mastery by completing different challenges in the game. Unlocking some really, really ♥♥♥♥♥♥ bonus weapons. Wasn't "cheesy" getting money to be an assassin by any means.

You never "got money" in the first place. Literally all they did was apply a label "money" to it. It didn't change anything in the game other than how you unlock things and how big the number is. The fact it's labeled score or money is inconsequential and doesn't have any impact on the game.

I was just playing Hitman 2. You recieve NO money in that game. They might mention it briefly, but it has no effect on the gameplay itself.

This is an empty complaint. You are just complaining for the sake of complaining...

I am? Pretty sure I was complaining with false hope they would fix it. I care more about the lack of good weapons than money. Please, gtfo my thread with that attitude.
