PLEASE add a checklist so you can see if you have been spotted mid mission

I am trying to complete the Silent Assassin challanges on Sapienza mission now, and it is a nightmare. Not because it is hard to pull off, but because I have no idea if I have been spotted or not according to the game. I have done two complete run now, I never got spotted by anyone or any camera, no notices came up, but still somehow I still don't get the score for not spotted in the score that I can see at the END. Please make it so we can actually see this MID MISSION if we have been spotted or not, if any bodies have been found or not etc. It is extremely annoying to try to complete a mission like this, work for an hour and then still apparently having done something wrong (or it being bugged and you have no idea if it is either one.

It would actually be even better if challanges that you can no longer complete would be crossed off. Like with how opportunies are crossed of and a message is displayed that you have already killed the critical target that would fulfill the opportunity.

It's not hard to all to tell if you've been spotted. If they have a question mark over their head with a circle that means they spotted you and are suspicious.

If it's an exclamation mark, they also spotted you and are alert.


And if you fail to see these, it should be relatively obvious based on their reactions. If you're caught tresspassing, you're spotted. If you're caught doing something illegal, you're spotted.

Do it without interrupting any of the AI and you'll get Silent Assassin pretty easily.




However. All this being said, I would not be against a "Spotted" indicater in the pause menu to double check just in case.

Try to kill Caruso when he watchs the Video.
In one evening I tried to kill Caruso with poisend Bolognese. and I always get spottet :( When I killed him with the vid, i get the challeng.

first, make your way to the hurch to hear the female scientist talk about her paying rspects to the body in the morgue, go to the morgue and lay on the brancard adjecent to the body, let her come in and wait till the guard ggoes out of the room, subdue her and get the dongle and keycard, go to the ICA appartment. go outside the back onto the roof, go on the ledge and sneak into the kitchen, go the the left some more, go down, cross the basement to the right, go back up, run straight for the small staircase to the left. you are now outside of the observatory, go in, pick up the vhs, put it in the projector and go sit in the box, caruso will come in and tell the guards to leave after a while, kill hil and hide him. go up one level, climb onto the roof with the drainpipe. walk to the left and you'll see a small room with a safe password. wait till francesca is in the room next oor. whenever she walks over to her laptop the guard will check the painting on the other side of the room. kill her sneaking and put her in de box right behind her desk. run back out.go back in the observatory and use it's staircase to go all the way down and go into the lab. go right and make your way down the drainpipe near the edge. sneak up and use the dongle to destroy the virus. you can dispose of the scientist or not, he doesn't see you when you stand next to him, i took him out anyway, no one sees it. then leave with the plane. easiest and fastest way, did it in 11 minutes

won't get you silent assassin suit only, to poison the sauce you have to be the kitchen help, andput in the lethal poison vial (red one, ICA equipment) then just ring the bell and that's it. you can move on to the next target

I think they should include a way to highlight a challenge you are going for, Silent Assassin in this case and when you're spotted the game says challenge failed. That way you always know.

Huh, it can't mean you are spotted if they have a ? above their head? That happens if they hear a strange sound, like you tossing a coin to distract them, then they get a ? to investigate. That should not mean you have been SPOTTED.

Spotted must be if you actually are spotted doing something and get a messeage about it, like Suspicious, Arresting, Tresspassing, etc etc. I never got any of those.

I mean this is the mess I am talking about, we don't even know what counts as spotted. If tossing a coin to distract a guard that gets a ? above his head and goes to investigate is counted as being SPOTTED that is really a bug and nothing else.

Again, I have done it 2 times now, I got no messages about being spotted by anoyone or any cameras and it still did not count. I am starting to think that it could be a bug with you getting spotted and then re-loading the game it might carry that over somehow. I had the same problem when doing the Paris mission and trying to get it. Had to do it over and over again, never getting spotted, until finally it unlocked somehow by luck it seemed.

Yes, the question mark alone does not determine it. However, you do get spotted if in the map the blip of the NPC transforms into a bigger one (you get what I'm saying) after you've walked past them and they are not reacting to a distraction. Also, shoot the cameras to avoid that. I had the same issue as you do and now I just shoot the damn cameras.

I play without the minimap so I dont see those blips, but I guess it is the same as the NPC being orange in the instinct mode. Again that never happened though, I did everything twise without anyone noticing anything or any messages popping up. I even got the challange for not being seen in the camereas so I know that is not an issue. To me it just seems bugged somehow, which would not be to suprising when taking into account how bugged challanges are in general for getting unlocked. I just wish there was some way to check mid mission if the game have recorded me as spotted or not yet so I don't have to waste an hour doing a perfect run and still don't get the never spotted.

Still I dont see how it could help, I am 100% positive I was not spotted. I am positive it is bugged somehow.

If you avoid getting spotted by npcs and the cameras and still see it in the stats, I really can't say anything else...
Shooting the cameras before they could catch me and avoiding npcs' line of sight when they could bring me trouble fixed it.
