High Temps
I'm getting around 61 degrees on my CPU and 83 degrees on my GPU. My game runs at mostly 60fps, but will drop in Caruso's mother's bedroom and a few other small rooms in Sapienza mansion.

Windows 10 64bit
i7 6700k 4.2ghz
16gb DDR4 ram
EVGA gtx 980ti 6gb

Is this normal? Those GPU temperatues seem really high.

I noticed that the game give me really high temps on DX 11 and DX 12 is fine on an r9 390.

Interesting. I only have been using DX11.

Well the other day i played Dx 11 since DX 12 was broken. When i got out of the game i checked MSI afterburner and my GPU was 71 celsius (it's a sapphire tri-x r9 390 the model with the most effective cooler) and my CPU was 80 during the game (but i'm quite guilty because i haven't changed my thermal paste since I got my cpu 4 years ago lol). Before DX 12 broke i played it and remember my GPU never get hotter than 63 celsius (on others games it's the average temps i get) and my CPU was around 70 (like other games too). Maybe that's just me though.

Frames aren't the only thing dropping in that bedroom, amirite?
Nick930 May 3, 2016 @ 5:34pm
Jesus 80 on that cpu? That sounds crazy high. Mine never goes over 60degrees.

I just looked up my gpu (980ti) and several tests were performed where it generally went up to 83 degrees on average. So I think I'm in a good place still.

But honestly.. i don't get why it's running so hot to begin with. This game looks "ok" but it certainly shouldn't be THAT demanding.

Are we talking bodies or pants? Because of it's the latter.. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Caruso is a sick man.

Depends you what kind of CPU cooler your running as for your GPU if its the Ref model (blower style cooler) I would say thats normal for game load (aftermarket cooler) (Ex. asus strix) I would say in the hood of 62c

Yes my i5 3570 k gets kinda hot these days while gaming lol, but never as hot as in this game. Though it's build to withstand up to 113 c. But I plan to change my PC case and PSU in coming months and I'll also put some new thermal paste and clean the noctua radiator.

It's a stock cooler that came with the EVGA gtx 980ti.

And my CPU is running with a water cooling Corsair H100i v2

yeah just ran mine from what I could ..

Cant connect to the Servers...

but even from the menu's

My CPU hits 56c with an Nh-D14 with fans at full speed

GPU tems hit 56 and stay there (last run i did I ended up logging it in game play

Does seem a bit warm but no warmer then BF4 and a few other titles

lol Just noticed both temps are the same .... freaky ...

Menus aren't going to run your GPU temp up. Load Sapienza in offline mode and play around. See what your temps get up to.

I think that's pretty normal. It's a result of the game not being optimised. In other words, your GPU is behaving in much the same way it would for a very demanding game that's pushing it to it's limits. Your GPU is simply trying super hard to give you constant 60fps. That temp is probably near the max of the card but it should cool itself to keep in below a dangerous level. Cards these days are designed for that.

I have a Fury Nano (paired w/ i7 5280k) and it maxes out around 64C in DX12. I've seen it as high as 75C on DX11. I wouldn't worry about it.

My 780ti would run at 82c non stop when playing any game :) mind you it was the ref model :) anything below 90c is good in my books
