He's not a masterchief mate.... He's just emotionally blocked. However there have been instances in lore....
That's right, he isn't Masterchief. He is a genetically engineered experiment created from the DNA of five French Foreign Legion soldiers. He is even less human than Masterchief.
Ort-meyer's own words:
"I have the power to create life, to mold, tailor and perfect humans - do you have any idea of the potential - no mushy sentiments, no quirky traits - and no betrayal! - DO YOU HEAR ME?"
The character is meant to be cold and emotionless.
The reason he helps Mei Ling or Victoria is simply because of the extreme distress he went through while growing up as a test subject in the lab. He dislikes the idea of Victoria being turned into a test subject or Mei Ling being held against her will. He actually went greater lenghts to save a priest. Which shows he has a sense of morality.
In Absolution he finished off Diana in a split second, because it was his "assignment".
No one can tell exactly why he helped Victoria. Then again, Absolution was heavily panned because it tried to showcase the human side of 47.
Lmao. Srsly tho, It think his "coldness" is part of his character. "Names are for friends, so I don't need one" he said in Blood Money mission 1. All human need friends, but he isn't even human in traditional sense.
Absolution was absolutely canon breaking and you guys should forget it even existed. 47 does whatever needs to be done to get the job done and occasionally he does a little bit extra, but nothing that would make him a humanist. He's a killer. Don't forget that he helped Mei Ling because she also helped him return. It was something minor, but you got an additional exit or something. I forgot the details.
As for Diana: In Blood Money 47 told her never to contact him in person. I think that should give more than enough of a clue as to how he thinks about her. Pure business relations and only as close as absolutely necessary, not one inch more personal.
So if they decide to spin a romance of sort with any type of character in this game, they have done it a 2nd time. Breaking 47's character for the sake of a gimped Hollywood story.
