Sapienza Silent Assassin, Suit Only, Without Dongle; Is it possible?

After a few hours of play enjoying and learning the map, and generally mucking about, I managed to put together a couple of routes for a SA,SO run.

Now I am just trying variations in an attempt to shave some seconds off, and I got thinking; Is there a way of destroying the virus, staying within the SA,SO rule, WITHOUT the dongle? Waiting on this hard metal table hurts 47s back something rotten.

For those interested, here are two routes that work well for me, and requires a bit of map knowledge, and some luck. Both runs make use of a silenced pistol and the lockpick, the second run uses the remote breaching charge.

Route 1: Head to church and get the dongle and card, head beside beach up stairs and up pipe that leads to back of safehouse, take the ledge leading to the kitchen window, hop through far kitchen window, take out camera ahead of you and pass into window, collect the VHS tape at the top of the observatory and kill Caruso via the projector method, hide body, up the stairs and out to the roof, up the pipe and across to the study that De Santis is searching, enter room and kill her when the guard moves to the most right hand section of the room (back turned), hide her body and leave the way you entered, down the stairs to the lab, to the right and down the pipe, up to the laptop and use the dongle, escape via the plane or optional: blow a hole in the wall that leads to by the toilets with the breaching charge, and use the boat nearby.

Route 2: Head to church and get the dongle and card, run along beach and through/round toilets to the weak wall, blow the wall with the charge, take a slight right to see where you run up to the dongle laptop, destroy the virus and up the pipe, subdue and hide the security there, run to the right and wait for security to leave, head down the stairs near the junction with the two exits, pick up the hammer that is there and use the crate to hide yourself from the stairs, wait for De Santis to walk by, kill her and dump her body in the storage box, up the stairs and shoot the rock just infront of the guardd to make them turn, run up the path leading to the stairwell, from here grab the VHS tape in the observatory, Caruso will most likely be on the lower floor by now, if he is use the wall screen to activate the observatory and hide, or wait it out somewhere for him to leave,use the projector method to kill Caruso and hide his body, escape through the unguarded door, take a right and run just behind the fountain thing to avoid the guards and the camera behind you, through the kitchen windows to the ledge near your safehouse, run through the safehouse to your car or down the pipe to the boat.


My best time on these is just under 13 mins, but my average is just under 17 mins, cutting out the dongle part should shave off a chunk of time!

i think it's unpossible with suit and no doongle, witout and disugise you cant get inside the chamber and destroy the virus witouth getting spottet. Correct me i was wrong...

Btw. fo the weak wall you can also use the door opener charge, it was silent...

It is possible !! You have to put on the alarm down there . I done it without dongle

Yeah I can confirm it is possible, a pain in the arse but possible, gotta sneak around the long way into the back of the containment facility and throw a breaching charge at the virus without actually entering the room itself.

That is how I did it because I did not even know about the dongle.

I did my SASO run with the dongle so I don't know if it counts but you can also just shoot the virus through the glass with a silencer.

Apart from super fast sniping, what follows is an easy way to do it:

Do everything you did up to the way you got inside the lab. If you look at the sealed room from the general lab room, head left where there are two guards and a scientist. Throw the canister to somewhere in the middle between those guys and the guy in front of you, then make sure you don't kill anynone by throwing the golf ball in the same direction. Both guards on the left will go in and you will need to hurry: civilians get too scared to notice you but guards will, so nevermind civilians and keep going. Ring the alarm, wait till eberybody gets out, go in, turn on the ventilation and kill the virus - head out and hide.

To escape, create another explosion (remote explosive) to lure the guards out of there again. Same civilian principles hold. This is a fast way to do it. Of course, you can always snipe through the glass and scram - but this is just one way to do it.

I should add that I have done this up to 7 different times now (all of the methods mentioned, be it sniping or just blasting your way past the guards). It is easy and saves you a lot of time you would otherwise spend with gimmicks.
