1080p (Native Resolution) + Exclusive Fullscreen = Wrong Hz
Anyone else have this issue? Is there any way i can set Hz on my TV back to 60Hz?

When i set it to 1080p resolution and Exclusive Fullscreen HZ goes to 30 i guess i have yellow tint and everything is laggy. There is no option to change Hz in the game so i can't do anything about it. When i set it to Fullscreen, it works as it should.

This is a DirectX 12 only issue as far as I know. Did you try DirectX 11?

(Also, if you have an NVIDIA GPU, make sure your "Preferred refresh rate" is set to "Highest available" in the Control Panel.)

I have Windows 7, so DX12 is not available at all for me.

Edit: I have R9 280x.

I have a similar problem. Vsync is capping my framerate at 50 FPS, but I have a 1080p60Hz monitor. Really want to fix this, but I don't know what to do.

Same for me, exclusive fullscreen gives me just 24 fps. I have an Acer XB280HK G-Sync monitor which is capable of 60 Hz (windows default) and 24 Hz. When using (non-exclusive) fullscreen, the fps go up to 60. Connected via display port with a Nvidia GTX 980 ti. Resolution is 2560x1440 in DX11.

Same here, DX12 on fullscreen is locked at 50fps. On windowed goes up to 60 as it should be...

Same here. I play on a Panasonic TV and the game is now locked to 24fps with vsync. I believe Crysis had this issue as well like 7 years ago lol.
Really disappointed I have to continue waiting to play this game.

Same happened to me, POST update. Have an R9 Radion 380. DirectX12 mode capping my 60Hz monitor to 30Hz; regardless of resolution. This only happened since last update. Also using the newest AMD driver from 04-28-2016.

Same for me. My Samsung TV gets set to 24hz and thus only outputs 24fps. This also happens on Dirt Rally and Dirt 3.

I have alerted the Dirt Rally devs of the issue via different means for months and they don't seem to know how to fix it so don't expect a quick fix here either..
It looks like it may be partly a AMD GPU problem when connected to TV via hdmi.

Btw, a workaround is to make a custom resolution in the AMD settings. I made 1912x1076 (closest to 1080p whilst still maintaining aspect ratio). Then choose that res in the in-game settings. It'll then work ok but you'll have a thin line of pixels near the TV bezel which don't get populated.

I have AMD 270x connected to Samsung TV via hdmi.

I have the exact same problem, have a GTX 980 here. It was fine before the Sapienza patch, and the latest patch didn't fix it. Hope they get this sorted soon.

I've had the same issue for about the last week, having had no issues before. At 1080p I get a locked 24fps in exclusive fullscreen (even with vsync turned off everywhere!) In 'regular' fullscreen the fps jumps around wildly and the game feels laggy and juddery, windowed seems about normal but I'm not a fan of playing in windowed mode. I'm on a GTX 960 but it doesn't seem as though this is exclusive to Nvidia.

Pretty frustrating after assuming this would've been fixed in one of the recent large updates.

I can't believe so many of you are having this issue and it's still not fixed?!
Is it so hard to add option to change Hz in the settings? It's 2016!

24 fps with vsync on and a staggering 12 if I change the interval

The custom resolution settings work for my 980ti

If you have a nvidia card, set Preferred refresh rate in the CP to "highest aviable", if you had'nt

IO should hire us to test this game :/

I tried to recreate this issue on 1440p with DX11-12, there was no 24-50 Hz lock.
On 1080p on the other hand, DX11 locked it to 50Hz, no issues with DX12.

The latest update fixed a lot of the problems I was experiencing, plus a performance boost. It is unfortunate to hear that you guys are still having issues.

i7 2600k, single 390X. 1440p, Max settings without SSAA (Paris map 55-80 fps)
