No full anisotropic filtering with DX12 compared to DX11
Hello,
with the current and also the previous version, 16x anisotropic filtering looks worse with DX12 than with DX11. Could someone please report this to the devs? If 16x AF is set up, the game should filter textures accordingly.
On AMD, AF for DX12 currently also can't be forced via driver, so it's really up to the devs.

Yep. And with the latest updates, they also broke the temporal AA filter with DX12.
DX12 now has more aliasing in motion than DX11, this can especially be noted with foliage.
And DX12 still suffers by more stuttering, e.g. at the central place in Sapienza.

RUBBISH!

Great job with the screenshots, they demonstrate both issues well.

to tell you the truth i think the diference between dx11 and dx12 is close to none, what i notice is i get way better performance in dx12 and its pretty obvious in my case and even in the games benchmark, but im kinda poorsighted so it might be why i dont see much diference :P

Well, DX12 runs worse for me than DX11 in terms of performance. fps are higher with DX12 in CPU limited scenes, but it feels way more stuttery than DX11.
And I notice the worse AA quite often.

I've always found AF to better looking if enabeld through NVCP. If you load up Bangkok at the very first starting point you can easily point out the flaws with in-game AF even on DX11.
Look at the pier, foliage and windows. :47_thumb_down::Original_Assassin:

Yes, some textures even don't have full AF with DX11, for example walls in Sapienza.
Good thing we can force it via driver.

This is not possible with AMD Radeon and DX12, btw. Radeon can only force AF for DX11 (and older/OpenGL), Nvidia can do it also for DX12.

Yep, this is very sad.

I however was able to "fix" my stuttering issues with a CPU update (from 2500k to 6700k):
