Hitman 2016, still worth buying?
Soo i've been wanting to try out this new trilogy of hitman and wanted to start it out by playing this first one, but i've seen a lot of people complaining about the optimization. Is it that bad? Should i go only for the second one? It would be very helpful to hear what you guys have to say, thanks!

you can play hitman (2016) in hitman 2 through the goty legacy pack dlc

it's basically an improved and better optimized version of it

Pffffff. Ever played Project I.G.I.? Thief? Heck, at least Stealth-only heists in Payday 2? I did, successfully.

I'm one of those people which refuse to eat ♥♥♥♥. Even if it's served on golden plate.
While the Hitman's content is quite good, technical side is a big smoking bucket of bull's.
It hogs traffic, for starts. A singleplayer game hogs traffic and loses its wits if ran without Internet. Imagine!

Well, thanks to EGS I didn't had to spend a single coin to try.

As a fan i still play the 2016 , first game (5th or something but okay) completing achievements even though the later versions have acces to the same levels, and run better, as a completionists its nice to go back to finish that stuff, but i wouldnt if i hadnt purchased them before, then i would play the levels from before in the latest game, then you have upgraded engines, new systems and better performance at the very least. and like from 1 to 2 , it adds professional level for example

There are a few of us for which there is something in H1 that H2 lacks. I'm now covering Miami in H2 and the only thing left for me in H1 is Patient Zero and tones of escalations that were cut out from H2. And I prefer going back to H1. Dunno what it is. Maybe 47 looks less sweet in candy, and with certain light almost real. Maybe there is too much bloom in H2. Maybe I just like good old games (I do!). Or maybe the menu theme gives me proper vibes. Although both games are awesome, I know I won't be uninstalling H1 anytime soon, even if H2 is now taking most of my playing time.
But if you don't share any of those sentiments, H1 and H2 levels in H3 would be the optimal way to go. Or H1 levels in H2. But then you may get sentimental about H2 when you transition into H3 ;P

I prefer the original H1 lighting in H1 levels, in other words, I prefer this game's levels in this game. I tried them in H2 and they have different color filters, less brightness sometimes and also bloom effects added everywhere. I just wish they kept H1 maps intact when porting them to H2 and H3.
