How to skip intro videos?

How do I skip the very long intro videos that play at startup? This is ruining the whole game for me.

No, I mean the video that you get after you start the game from the launcher.

If you were to describe what you're looking at that displeases you, or provide a screenshot of a part of it, then maybe we could help. Actually, your question puzzles me; I have over a thousand hours in this game, and I don't recall any "long videos" at startup.

There are a few software flashes, and then the page that yays, "Press Enter to play" takes two to five seconds to stabilze, and then the menu comes up. Then you choose, plan, and start your destination, after which a briefing video will start, which you can skip by hitting the spacebar.

if its what im thinking hes talking about press the Esc key or the enter key one of those should work hopefully. let us know if it worked, if those two options i gave you dont work try clicking the mouse

Are you seriously shutting down the game and restarting it 10 times in a row?

If you mean exactly what you see immediately after pressing "Play" from the launcher, then IT CANNOT BE AVOIDED; IT IS NECESSARY. Every single game on the market launches the game into system process when called—and not just games; every single application you RUN on your PC has to be LOADED into active [dynamic] system memory. Are you seriously having a problem with this?

It is the software flashes that I want to skip.
