You can equip lethal poison in your loadout once you reach a particular mastery level.

I think its in francescas pocket, she would probably use it to kill silvio if things went wrong, once you take her out she will drop the lethal poison, that is if you dont have it unlocked in your loadout

The rat poison found in basements usually is emetic only. Poisoned syringes can be unlocked soon and other types of poison if you increase in Mastery level.

Poison Syringes will likely still count, I think you have one available by default. "Modern Lethal Syringe" or something.

you need to finish this mission until you are level 10 or 15 then you unlock Lethal poison for your loadout so next time you start your mission choose it as one of your starting Items then drop it to the food you cook for him.

No, it is NOT in Francesca's pocket; the ONLY thing she carries is the biolab keycard. If you want to lethally poison Silvio, you have three options, since there is NO lethal poison tp be found in that part of Italy:

Mission Planning; Equip:
1. Fatalidomide bottle
2. Lethal poison syringe
3. Antique lethal poison syringe

That fatal poison bottle unlocks ONLY when you take that Helmut disguise, BUT!!! There is a single bottle of lethal poison (or pills) in the west attic. You can still poison her, or the guy if you haven't unlocked it in your planning inventory.

P.S.: I never bothered to search Dalia's body after killing her, not specifically, but I don't think she carries any with her, not until you assume the actor's disguise.

theres the two options actually: The Showstopper - Dalia Margolis carries two lethal poison vials; one is dropped on death/KO, and impersonating Helmut Kruger and meeting Dalia allows access to the other vial. (Possibly an oversight.) , but not in sapienza, theres no poison vial in sapienza, i was confusing perhaps. It happens both on normal and pro. You can kill dalia, get her poison vial and then use it to kill viktor when hes at the bar. Thats why i love this hitman :) so many choices to kill :P

Thanks for the 411. There's a lot of stuff I haven't tried or paid attention to in Paris—can't stand the place, actually. Real Paris is one thing, but, ugh!

Too bad you can't poison the cigarettes and the joints in Sapienza. I think the devs missed that. I mean, just pacifying the targets? It's SILLY.
