Marrakesh: Missing Wine Glass in Embassy [Solved by Tim Timsen]
I was just wondering if this was the result of [a permanent change by] code revision¹, or if it's just a temporary glitch. I got some lethal poison, but when I went upstairs in the embassy to poison the target's wine glass, it was gone.

On an earlier run-through, I was causing a whole bunch of commotion outside, and when I went to the aforementioned location, someone—the target, presumably—had evidently knocked it over in a panic, spoiling that opportunity.

¹This has happened before. For example, there used to be video evidence you could destroy in the security shack outside in Bangkok, but the devs took it out.

Was the alarm triggered or was someone chasing after you or running through the room while the glass was in use?
Those things cause NPCs to drop things.

I had the former happen in Paris, some months ago.
Prepared a lethal Bare Knuckle Boxer, went upstairs, triggered the fire alarm to distract people, killed Margolis.
Went down, wondered why Novikov hasn't died already, saw the glass was gone.

I strongly suspect you're right—an alarm had been raised. Just a few seconds ago I had to restart the level because a key NPC [in my way] suffered another common bug: He froze in indecision. Anyway, this time my approach was stealthier, and the wine glass was in place. This time I poisoned the General's glass, too. I call it, "Wine and Die."

One of my favorite ways to kill the General is to plant a remote-controlled explosive and trigger the rap-dancing session, blowing him up at its conclusion.
