use of the quickdraw

It says it's a climbing device that can also be used as a fiber wire variant. So can I also use it to climb, or is it just another way to strangle opponents? Thanks

It's just a strangling device

There's no rock climbing in the game. The only thing a quickdraw is used for in climbing is to let a rope run freely through bolt anchors, they are completely useless for climbing unless you had the rest of the gear to go with it
