You don't have to hide the body and you can still get Silent Assassin. As far as I know, this really only works with syringe, not lethal-poisoning food/water. I've played plenty of custom contracts where quickly killing someone and not having to waste time hiding the body is critical to a Silent Assassin rating.
Fibre Wire is just there. Another weapon for contract-requirements. Maybe it's slightly more quiet than choking? IDK.
Oh wow, Syringe is actually really cool then. I wish the game showed you a bit more information about all the weapons, just a quick feature run through. Ive been using poison in foods this whole time when i could have just syringed someone in the bathroom i guess.
Plus you can drag their body as soon theirs hits the floor - helps when seconds are critical.
People have already clarified why the lethal syringe is so great.
They are good.
- Because they are iconic tools of Hitman from the entire franchise.
Syringes are useful since poison kills count as accidents, not every NPC drinks things and if you want, you can use it as a distraction.
