Needs some darker missions like Hitman: Contracts
This game needs a mission where you hunt down a serial killer or something. The darker levels like the Meat King's Party and A Dance with the Devil levels were great.

Ah yeah, older Hitman games had a darker tone in general. Hitman 16's story is around powerful figures/celebs though so it isn't as gritty. Colorado (a bad map) has some interesting characters though.

I could live with less bondage gear in a mission.

Dark-toned missions doesn't necessarily need bondage to make the game look dark.

No but the specific mission mentioned was the meat kings party, I remember at 12 thinking, geez this is a bit odd. The OP specific mentioned missions with bondage, so thats cute that you didn't read the post and just like following me around the fourms lol

As bondage-themed as they are, they also both have humor to temper the darkness.
(The shark in Dance with the Devil gets fatter the more corpses it eats, for example...)

When those games were made, the technology to render crowds meant that designers had to find a way to justify so many repeating clones. Both levels took place at underground parties-the perfect excuse to have so many similar costumes- and this would in some small way justify the choice of latex and an improbable number of ball gags.

Season 2 hopefully will have some kind of level like these. Not the fetish gear, etc., but a crowded party with multiple zones and various distinct levels within the map.

I guess 47 has worked his way up in the world and only takes the highest paying contracts. He is an A-lister hitman now.

Of course Contracts missions were darker because they occured at night :]

But yeah, I was thinking this too not so long time ago. Contracts definetly had this much darker theme around it. Everything from the music to small actions like preparing the fiber wire were surrounded by sinister atmosphere and I loved it.

Dance with the devil was in blood money.
