Jordan Cross won't start singing

When trying to electrocute Jordan with the microphone, I've done the perfect mix, the recording is about to start, but before he touches the microphone he starts swearing and storms off. I've done exactly as others have done on Youtube, but I can't get him to start singing. What am I missing?

Third time's a charm. I just waited, looking around, and the third time he entered the recording booth he started singing.

For me even 5 times was not enough, nad to kill him by the gun to skip that bug and not to restart whole mission.

Next time go the to mixing console and hit the "Mix" prompt. Once you get that sussed, Jordan goes to the booth.
