Why only kill bad guys?
I love this game, i have played it almost 150 hours, completed every challenge and escalation though not every elusive target. But one thing i have noticed is that you only kill bad guys, which kinda makes you the good guy. But 47 is not supposed to be the good guy, he's a bloody hitman who kills for money. I think it kinda removes a bit of the darkness and realism of the franchise, by having him only kill bad people. Unfortunately in the real world, most of the time it's the good guys who get assassinated.

If you'd pay attention, you'd know that he's working for an agency that is specialized in providing hitmen for "killing bad guys", securing world peace and all that other jazz...

Also, if you "accept" Absolution, he killed Lenny's buddies who didn't really do anything except for some chatting about getting the ransom from Lenny's father. They might have given Lenny the idea, but that still isn't really a reason for offing them.

This has been going on the series first started though.

If it makes you feel better (or worse, from a morailty standpoint), you could make decent cases for a number of the targets not really being "bad people".

Jordan Cross, for example, is just incapable of handling stressful situations due to his upbringing and lashes out. Penelope Graves genuinely seems to think that the Shadow Client is more moral than the system he's fighting and Ezra Berg is just trying to minimise the amount of violence used in interrogations. Silvio Caruso just wants a way to protect himself from bullies, and when you consider that said bullies include Abiatti, that doesn't seem too unreasonable.

And then if we look at the bonus missions, the only real "bad person" acts comitted by Matthieu Mendola and Dino Bosco were being rude to other NPCs. Both are assassinated purely for inconveniencing the megacorps they work for. And, uh, corporate espionage in Mendola's case, but that's hardly puppy-kicking evil.

Not saying that any or all of these arguments are correct, mind you (getting into morailty arguments on the internet never ends well), but the case can be made.

I always thought of 47 as Chaotic Neutral.

hitman gets paid hitman kills people.

Sometimes he kills people that get in his way.

But really good people like mother teresa really do not gain that much hate people want to off them.

I would be down for killing the pope the current one especially since he seems like a puppet for globalists and not a leader of the catholic church. Common season two off the pope.

I do not consider it political to say off the pope. Especially when he is not much liked in any circles. Left or right.

You really think Gary Busey can be killed that easily? He's just resting.

Bosco isn't really a bad guy.
