Game running causes Youtube to stutter/freeze dramatically in the background?

Bought the game on the sale and loving it so far, but I've noticed a very peculiar issue specific to this game alone. Running Hitman causes any youtube video I'm watching to get around 5% of it's usual bandwidth. I usually watch 1080p 60fps videos on my second monitor while playing games, but while Hitman is open in any way, I'm unable to keep the video buffering without frequent pauses even when I decrease the youtube quality to 240p 30fps.

After I noticed this a few times, I closed Hitman and the videos IMMEDIATELY started playing and loading normally again. Open Hitman again and they start freezing. This is the ONLY game I have which causes this problem.

Any solutions for this?

Thats usually because your RAM/CPU can't keep up or is refusing to since it considers the game higher priority, And no you really shouldent mess with your CPU's priority's, Best way to fix that often times is to just upgrade your RAM or CPU.

One of my friends claimed he fix'ed it by disabling the steam overlay so you can try that I guess but I wouldent get your hopes up.

[To disable the steam overlay go to your game library and right click on the game you want to disable it in and select "Properties" should be a checkbox along with the VR thing.]
