I imagine IOI will add them and the sniper rifle case somewhere down the track though (as these two are some of the most common requests by fans).
Good point. It might make less sense to add dual wielding in now considering how difficult going rambo is in this game. Killing everyone on a map is certainly doable, but not in most situations as you've said. On the other hand there's an undeniably large demand for it, so IOI might just surprise us: http://www.hitmanforum.com/t/poll-bring-back-duel-wield-pistol/4888
I'm almost positive the sniper rifle case will be brought back in some form though, because of a survey that was released in March ( https://www.reddit.com/r/HiTMAN/comments/4aov5s/just_took_the_hitman_survey/ ) and the huge demand for it in general (on the Hitman forums as well as this hub). One of the sections in that survey I mentioned asked fans what features they would like to see added, and the sniper rifle was an option you could pick (along with the ability to take a human shield and extra difficulties).
I really hope so, it'd possibly be ridiculously OP... but at the same time really enjoyable.
They've really put out something I'm immensely happy with. Some of the decisions are a bit sucky but I blame Square Enix for that, not IOI.
It doesn't have to be implimented exactly like Blood Money and just including it would calm down some of the more unhappy fans :)
True, maybe like a one time use thing to get yourself to the location and setup without every NPC in the game losing their mind. Or something to that effect.
Agreed. This is partly because Square Enix is a bit like EA in that they have unrealistic sales expectations ( http://www.polygon.com/2013/3/26/4148780/square-enix-missed-sales-targets-sleeping-dogs-hitman-absolution-tomb-raider ). They've got to be a bit more lenient and take a chance on something.
That would work. If they were going the BM route, they can just make it that the unpacking animation takes about 10 seconds (so you have to make sure you're in a good location before you unpack it).
I don't think that'd really balance it to be honest. You could snipe every target and just keep relocating, since if you chose a hallway decent spot you won't be swarmed fast enough that the animation duration would matter.
Granted not that I'm one to really complain about OP stuff assuming it's an "end-game unlock" sort of thing.
Unless I'm missing something... can't you already do that with a guard disguise whilst carrying a sniper rifle around?
All good :) I guess there's less time spent not getting a disguise but that's also why I suggested the 10 second animation (maybe longer).
i know the silverballer is an unlockable.
but its not the same. i would use the silverballer to move bodies faster just cuz the gun was so freaking strong.
so if they could add the classic duel silverballers as a joke weapon or something that would be awesome. cuz i kinda mis these silly moments where guards are talking and suddenly ony flies off cuz you shot him 2 times in the head with the silverballers.
if you still dont know what i mean, then play contracts. test the silverballers. and enjoy
Oh ok.
The Silent Assassin ones functioned pretty similar (I remember bodies flying up in the air when you shot NPCs with them haha).
this game either needs mod support of more silly stuff. cuz i love silly stuf this game
