It's basically melee aka hand-to-hand.
But people want to sound cool so they use that term and its abbreviation.

Vs the hitman in this game? he dies to one bullet :P in pro mode, more like 3 in normal mode, MGS 5 it takes half clip to kill him, and he is not even THE BIG BOSS.

Dunno how the genetically engineered agent 47, but they did not seem to give him much of anthing, other than a lack of emotion, and a decent understanding of weapons. :P

I love both games, and different universes n all, but big boss, venom boss, or solid snake would kick the living hell out of 47.

when making the comparison you would have to assume they live in the same world with the same rules like 1,2,3 hit kills and such

Well i have yet to see any supernatural, nanomachine powered super villans in hitman.

Bottom line snake/boss takes on beings that would slaughter 47.

sure, makes sense. its a bit of a ♥♥♥♥ compare question really. a better one would be 47 vs sam fisher from splinter cell. neither is superhuman or have superhuman enemies
