If you forget DRM and episode system?
If Hitman is just a typical game, with no DRM and no episode style release. How good it is as a game? I am a big fan of Hitman games, and just want to know if I ignore the negative review which concern about episode system and DRM. Is it a good game?

Has the DRM system got any better since release?

As a game, I thought it would be great like it is right now except we wouldn't have to deal with the online-only nonsense. Right now, you can play the game offline but it takes away some of its replay value since you unable to complete challenges which is something you need to do in order to get unlockables.

I don't really care if the game is released episodically because I think it suits the game quite well IMO, I mean I don't see any reason how making the game episodic would make it bad.

Because most of the reviews discusses about how the game was marketed, it's quite hard to find a review that actually talks about the gameplay in detail so don't even bother and read/watch some reviews somewhere else like YouTube. I really liked this game but it isn't perfect because there has been some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ moments that can ruin your perfect "Silent Assassin" rating (One example is that NPCs can see through walls sometimes) but they are still updating the game monthly so hopefully most of the bugs gets fixed. It's still one of the best games from last year that I've ever played and I'm waiting patiently for them to release Season 2.

It's apparently a good hitman with no storyline, but with many elements from the good previous opus such as hitman 2 or blood money.

Like is said above, you'll spend half a day in the steam negative reviews, before finding one being negative at the game outside of the 2 items you mention.
That says it all: game is awesome.

I absolutely love the game, nearly as good as blood money in my eyes. If blood money was the style of game you like then I'm sure you'll love this one too.

Thanks guys, looks like I have buy this :) How about the missions? Are they good? I must say that best mission in Hitman games is "Traditions of trade" from the first game. Worst were the jungle missions. So what kind of missions this game have?

Can't comment vs. previous games, but yes, the missions are good.

There is variety, and interesting games mechanics, like suits opening doors in Hokkaido.

A must buy IMO
