How to enable HDR??

my setting cant enable HDR after Update..
specs
i5 6600k
gtx 1070
16 Gb ddr 4

Windows 10 did not have the feature support HDR. The next upcoming Creator update will... So stop alt-tabbing and such.

Win 7/8 and older, no such luck for the OS in the future.

No.
The Windows 10 HDR mode is only for content that cannot create a Fullscreen and force HDR.
Games in DirectX Fullscreen mode negotiate directly with the Monitor to activate HDR. So it was already working before.

And i do have the same issue with washed oud colors, everything just seems darker...
Win10 v1709 R9-290 and Samsung CH49HG90 Monitor.

Running modern sys. Old 1080pix screen though which still looks great today.

I believe I have solved this. The HDR setting for Hitman 2 is the same as HDR10 which is a Windows 10 HDR setting only available on certain screen models. The HDR technology seems to have:3840x1600 or higher resolution required for the screen. Have a look at this model for example from LG coming in the year 2019: https://www.amazon.co.uk/LG-38WK95C-Ultrawide-Adjustable-DisplayPort/dp/B07CK55Z7F/ref=sr_1_2?keywords=LG+38WK95C-W&qid=1558548432&s=gateway&sr=8-2

I believe this will allow HDR to work in the game.

just letting you all know that the problem still exits. i have predator XB3 @ 4K resolution, RTX 2070. still the game will not allow HDR to be enabled. gears 5 detected HDR very easily and it was really good in that mode. both hitman 1 and 2 dose not allowed me to play in HDR so far. still the games look great thanks to the monitor i believe.

Yeapp.. HDR hitman is broken.. i cant enable HDR only this game with my monitor Aorus AD27QD
the other games run perfect with HDR

So with the Aorus brand monitor model AD27QD will Hitman 2 run without issues in HDR on Win 10?

yeapp.. all of my game on PS4 Pro, PC (Forza Horizon 4, RE 2 remake, Gears of war 5, and all of my pc games) run perfect on HDR , except Hitman 2

I bought a new HDR (DisplayHDR 400) monitor today, and Hitman 2 looks amazing with.

I enabled HDR in Windows 10 settings (HDR and WCG ON) and in game settings as well + Exclusive fullscreen in DX12 mode with HDMI 2.0. It works well at least for me. Latest Nvidia driver, Windows 10 2004.
