1) He would have been able to send you to a school where you could have gotten a decent education (I learned about corporate finance, the stock market, et cetera, in the seventh grade), good enough to prevent you from posting something like that.
2) You also would have been able to know how to do the research needed in order to discover that IO Interactive doesn't OWN the rights to the game that they wrote the code for, that Square Enix does (and they're not in a position to be vulnerable to a hostile takeover, nor are they interested in divesting themselves of all their assets), and that further, there are widely-conflicting rumors regarding whether or not they (Square Enix) intend to retain their rights to the franchise—which seems to be what you want.
3) You'd know that your dad would be in the top one percent of the top one percent in terms of wealth, and mature men don't get that wealthy and STAY that way by idly indulging the whims of their offspring.
About the only way such a request made of your father would have to bear fruit would be if he were a die-hard IO Interactive game fan, AND he were able to purchase the Hitman rights before someone else does…but, then he'd be a fool to buy IOI, if IOI and Hitman were not a package deal, if they were discrete and independent offers—and someone else got Hitman first.
Huh? That doesn't make any SENSE. "Whole game?" The kid already HAS—wait—no, he doesn't (no mouse icon to denote ownership). Sorry, Siv!
Yeah, kid (janirobe); just get your dad to buy the Full Experience package for you, "the whole game." That actually could happen.
I'm done with this thread. Like someone else pointed out, there are too many threads on this topic. L8Rs.
