DLC subscription price
Now EUV is out, they shouldn't be allowed to charge £6.99 per month for the EUIV DLC subscription. Pardon me for not having £300 to spend, but £6.99 a month is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ridiculous.

It's a great deal to me.
I bought all the DLC on sale only slowly for the last 10 years. That's the only way to do it.

Shouldn't be allowed? Who's going to enforce that?

Not everyone is living in the richest country of the world dude. Even the lowest salaries in the US are higher than high tier salaries in many other countries. Anyone in the US or Western Europe would earn that in an hour but that doesn't mean it's a fair price for everyone.
Not all products are for everyone. There are many things I don't buy so that I do have money for the things I want to buy. Some people prefer to go to the movies 30 times across 12 years. Me? I'll take Eu4, thanks.

I don’t expect you to understand the world outside first-world countries, but you need to know that some people have to spend their entire monthly salary to buy one AAA game (60 dollars) in many parts of the world. For example, the minimum wage in Ukraine (a country in Eastern Europe that is currently at war) is roughly 200 dollars a month. These people also have to pay rent and other expenses, so they might be able to save maybe 10 dollars a month for a game, probably even less. Yet many companies demand 50, 60, or even 200 dollars (with all DLCs) for a single game.

We are not talking about a lucky American or Western European who has plenty of disposable income for hobbies, but about the rest of the world: Places like Ukraine, Armenia, the Balkan countries, and many Asian and African nations that are not as wealthy as the U.S.

Edit: To help you understand, let me adapt the Ukraine example to your country. Imagine an American living in Texas earning 1,500 dollars a month. Now imagine Paradox asking 500 dollars for the base game and 1,500 dollars for all the DLCs. Would you pay 500–1,500 dollars in that situation? If not, then the OP is 100% right.

Then stop wasting your rancid breath. We're done.
My dude's attention span isn't enough for the 10-15 seconds text lol

You would have said: "I'm sorry for being ignorant and knowing nothing about other countries outside of my city/country, you are totally right" but ok I'm not surprised since my expectations were low anyway

He has one of the most appropriate names on Steam

I guess that's why he blocked me and not just because I told him about the financial situation of other countries in the world other than his own rich country. Makes sense. Very appropriate for sure.

Btw my message wasn't even slightly toxic as you can go back and check it yourself. Game prices vary a lot in different countries and unfortunately AA and AAA games are extremely expensive in many parts of the world. That's all I said.

I read it, thats why I commented.
Luckily the cabal seem to have migrated to the EU5 forum, unfortunately some are still lingering
steamunlocked
3.99 seems far more fair.
as someone else mentioned there are ways to acquire EU4 without needing to pay for it, and who cares for the multiplayer anyway,
Be grateful for the possibility to buy DLC's and own them forever without the subscription.
