Any way to disable sabotage rep and sowing discontent.
Is there ANY way to disable these 2 annyoing features and level 8 forts so AI won't use them? Like editing the game files, installing mods or using cheats..

Only way I can think of dealing with it is to deal with it.

Every time I play I quit around 1600-1700s because of this.. It is so annoying when every single country constantly spams those to you.

Well, you can do the same to them.

Counterespionage them with shadow diplomats.

They cannot spy on you if you annex them.

Bruh. I played a game as England from 1444, to 1953. And reputation being sabotaged and discontent being sowed is part of the game. There is no way to stop it. And it really does simulate real life.

A lot of people do get angry at their government.

Just deal with it.

It simulates real life? How do you sabotage someone's diplomatic reputation?
"Oh hey, this emperor is a big liar do not believe him!" How can 1 country make every other country hate another country?

Sowing discontent? You have lands in every continent, hunderds of cities and you are the ruler of the most developed country in the world. Then a stupid American/African tribe comes and makes EVERY SINGLE PERSON in your country hate eachother? How?! How does this stimulate real life?

It seems only the nations you rival and their subjects do these actions on you.

Not 100% sure but had a game with no rival possible for the last 200 years and noone did it to me, despite very bad relations with plenty of nations.

So, either use counterespionnage on your rivals or stop rivaling nations past the point in the game where those actions are possible.

Why avoid a feature (that actually gives bonuses) just to avoid another (annoying) feature? That makes no sense at all.

Because if you feel the malus are worse than the bonus, it makes sense...

simple solution is to become to big to have rivals since they are the only once that do those diplomatic things. playing as ming in 1.2 and I have been to big to have any rivals the whole game and no one has sabatoge me or sowed dicontent

I don't play full conquest focused because it doesn't feel realistic. Like, how many nations went from 1 city to controlling all of Europe? I usually play slow and develop my existing provinces and go to wars every 10-15 or maybe even 20 years. So no... I won't try get big enough to not have rivals.
