Problem while creating or accessing profile.
So...... I created an account, it said the account was created fine.

I fill my details into the 'Coach name' and 'Password' boxes and check the boxes for auto-login and try to log in......

It says 'problem while creating or accessing profile', and get this, it doesn't let me change those details. I can't disable auto-login, and I can't change my details.

It just says 'Press Enter'. If I press enter, it gives me the error, and then asks me to press enter again. I've looked through the options and config xml files too, and can't find a way to disable auto-login or change my details.

Cyanide can't actually have been stupid enough not to see an error loop this obvious..... can they?

I assume the issue is because there's a question mark in my coach name, but it said it created the account when I submitted it.

Hopefully this will be fixed soon, swtiching windows accounts everytime i'd want to play is far from ideal.

I have also attempted to run this game on my laptop. The same thing happens, which begins to make me think this is a steam issue. I have posted the files on the official forum here : http://forum.bloodbowl-game.com/viewtopic.php?f=90&t=5480
Can someone please get back to me with a solution for this issue. I have had this game for almost a week now and have not been able to get past the opening screen.

So this was the advice given by support on the forum. It didn't work for me but perhaps it might work for others suffering from this problem.

Please remove and/or add Blood Bowl 2 in Windows Firewall:

1. Open Windows Firewall.
2. Click 'Allow an app or feature through Windows Firewall'.
3. Click the button 'Change settings'.

If Blood Bowl 2 is displayed under 'Allowed apps and features:', please remove the game.
To remove the game, click 'Blood Bowl 2' and click the button 'Remove' then click the button 'Yes'.

Then add manually Blood Bowl 2 in Windows Firewall.
There are two applications to add: 'BloodBowl2' and 'BloodBowl2_DX_32':

1. Click the button 'Allow another app...'.
2. Click the button 'Browse...' under 'Add an app'.
3. Select the application 'BloodBowl2' located in 'Steam\steamapps\common\Blood Bowl 2' and click the button 'Open'.
4. Click the button 'Network types...'.
5. Check 'Private' and 'Public' and click the button 'OK'.
6. Click the button 'Add'.
7. Click the button 'Allow another app...'.
8. Click the button 'Browse...' under 'Add an app'.
9. Select the application 'BloodBowl2_DX_32' located in 'Steam\steamapps\common\Blood Bowl 2' and click the button 'Open'.
10. Click the button 'Network types...' under 'Add an app'.
11. Check 'Private' and 'Public' and click the button 'OK'.
12. Click the button 'Add'.
13. Click the button 'OK' to close Windows Firewall.
14. Run the game.

OK i found a fix i had entered my password wrong and it was stuck on auto-login loop.
<<<To reset auto-login for any reason, and to get out of auto-log loop.>>>

3. Disable cloud in steam for blood bowl 2 but right clicking the game in client and going to properties. (bottom of update tab)
1. go to Documents > BloodBowl2
2. Delete everything in folder but leave folder there.
4. Disconnect your internet from your computer.
5. play blood bowl 2
6. At this point you should be able to re-enter your log in stuff
7. Connect internet and try to login.
8. hopefully you enjoy!

Unfortunately this is a ridiculous error and cannot believe the devs haven't patch this. All they have to do is put a auto login toggle in the menu

It worked! Amazing. Only gives me offline content but I can get in. I have been watiing so long to be able to do that. Thanks

This same problem came up for me but on the ps4, except I've been playing for a few weeks already without any problems and then suddenly it tells me there's a problem with accessing the profile and it's stuck on the main screen
Can anyone help? I know this is for steam but there doesn't seem to be any help forums for ps4

I've got the same issue UBERSCRUBER. When I deleted the Application Saves from my PS4 Harddrive, the game worked and I was able to log in.

Unfortunately that means I lost all my campaign progression. I restored the deleted Application Save and what do you know, can't log in again. Something has corrupted the save in the last 12 hours since I played yesterday... Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a way for PS4 players to reset our caches without completely deleting our saves.

I also still have the same issue "Problem while accessing or creating Profile". I tried all the tips here I could find but it did not help. I tried to create an account in Cyanides forum but the verification mail for that was never sent out. At the moment the game is pretty much broken as I cannot even play in offline mode. What bothers me the most is that I was not able to find any official statement from Cyanide about the whole thing so far. Pretty much seems like they have my money so they don't care about it anymore.

Hey, I was having this issue, disabled steam cloud, tried relogging in, etc. went to reinstall the game when i noticed i didn't have any space on my primary drive.. legitimately 0 bytes left.. Moved some stuff off my SSD and tried again, worked perfectly.. seems logical that they require some hard-drive space to do their thing, just though I'd drop a message in, might help some ppls.. check your primary drive.. :steamhappy:

I know this is an old discussion but i need help also. I've tried deleting the bloodbowl 2 folder and that did nothing, it just reset my start up screen to type my info back in which promptly FAILED. I'm currently reinstalling the game and pinning my hopes on that, is there any fix whatsoever now? it's shocking that in two years they STILL haven't fixed this problem
