How to play with gamepad controls on Steam Deck?
Hi,

I specifically bought the game when I read that it had full controller support as I don't really like using the trackpad on my Steam Deck. However, even after enabling gamepad controls in the game settings and applying the most upvoted community Steam Deck control layout, I still cannot navigate the game menus with dpad or analog sticks and the in-game controls also still rely on the mouse. Is there a way to fix that?

I just solved the issue by going into the config file in the game's folder and manually changing "mouse mode" from 1 to 0 and "control mode" from 0 to 1. It seems to be that SD controller detection is buggy for Blood Bowl 2. Maybe this helps someone who encounters the same issue.

I'm also trying to use the Steam Deck and the issue I am having is how do you display skill icons above the heads? I'm always having to select the players to see their skills and it slows down the game play.

It's left stick click on a normal gamepad to cycle thru skill icon and grid view.

Thanks, this fixed it for me.
If anyone is struggling with this, it's a file in the prefix folder.
