Star Players question...
So I had a replacement loner player for one of my guys when I was short on people. And after the game he offered me to join my team permanently for cash and if he does, he loses 'loner' trait.
He was a replacement that the game made for me automatically, I didn't buy him for petty cash.

So my question is - is there a chance that star players that I hire will offer to join my team?
And if so, can, let's say, dark elfs get an ogre in their team that way? I know thay can hire an ogre star player.

I'm not really familiar with bloodbowl rules...

No only journeymen will offer to join, if you could get star players like that don't you think it would be a bit op/unfair?

Well considering that ogre star player costs 430k... no, I don't think it would be unfair. You need to HIRE him first and then you would have to pay him more to join your team. And I assumed that that would cost a ♥♥♥♥ ton if that was the case.

No, not possible.

Star Players are meant to equal your chances against higher TV-Teams. Don't focus too much of your game on them. They will just eat your MVP exp reward. All xp they get is lost in the end, since they don t level up but get points your team could have used instead. I only hire them when I'm down on players because of injuries.
