Individual Player Statistics
Can someone who has played online please tell me if individual player staistics are being displayed in the game or not, and if the HOF is being used ?

I could only find team statistics.

What surprised me is that actual player staistics ARE being recorded in the games database file for my profile. All the usual stuff you would expect. Records it for the current competition and lifetime.

Also there seem to be some achievments that are not activated yet that pertain to indivdual stats, again from the DB file.

So given I could find it in the DB file but not in the game, someone please tell me I am missing the obvious here or have the devs not implemented the GUI for it yet ?

Thanks all.

Nice find, this means it will come out sooner or later...lets hope sooner.
It should have been there from the start, this is the feature I miss the most.
(after that it is different players look level up, and then different cheerleaders).

I'm using a sqlite editor to edit names and things if anyone's interested in that sort of thing. I noticed the stats in the DB file too.

I agree.

ATM If you want to know your team stats just grab a DB editor and peruse the management database file in your "my documents/blood bowl 2/...). If you need more info from there just post back.

Should all be there, and "should" be updating as you play games.

At least you have indirectly confirmed that I was not a complete diiot and just could not find it ingame. :)

So do DB changes hold for multiplayer ? I would assume not, figured I was just working with a copy.

When you change names is this for a solo team or your mutliplayer team ?

Ah yes - I've only tested the solo campaign and league; you can edit pretty much anything (useful if you're creating a whole world for yourself). Not sure about multiplayer, but I'm confident you should be able to edit/amend names at least.

I'm not sure I understand everything, but if the stats are alwready being saved in a file, does it mean the stats will be retro actives when they finally introduce them in the game ?
All our previous actions with our players might appear ?

Do you fing player stats for the Reikland campaign too ?

Thx

All I know is the stats exist and are viewable in the database file, but obviously not in-game.
If the developers get their act together I see no reason why said stats couldn't be 'retro active', as you put it, Sean Sx. I want this badly so we can see which AI players are playing well etc. It all adds to the immersion factor, I suppose. Still, much rather have a kick-ass AI over anything else.

Yea ok thx,

those stats are my most wanted feature in the game right now...
I think I'll even stop playing Blood Bowl 2 for a moment, waiting for them to put those stats back in the game.

Well, good to know they are here (suspected they would since there is a Hall of Fame)! But now we know for sure. BTW, an old question I posted somewhere else, but does anybody having the Hall of Fame displayed in solo mode ? (It does in multi for sure, but so far, didn't see it in Solo)

Is there any word on when things like this will be implemented along with transfers and other bits missing ??

I don't think there is.
According to the first post, new achievements should be coming with stats, but when ?
Who knows...

You may have read a little more into what I was saying (or I expressed my enthusiasm a little to optimistically). There is some data in the DB file that enumerates extra achievements not in the game currently. This does not mean that they ever will make into the game though. They might have just been deleted when the stats were not going to be ready for release.

I hope they make it in someday but I wouldn't double down on that.

As far as the stats go. I don't know about multiplayer, have not confirmed anything about stats for multiplayer games/leagues etc. My guess is that it all works the same but that said, am not sure.

I just don't want to mislead anyone.

My guess is they would be but I have not explicitely looked for them. I have finished the campaign and am not sure if the file preserves after that or not. I might have a look in the coming days. If I find anything out I will let you know.

As far as the retro active thing goes. Unless they mess around with the format, add, take away etc, then there should be no reason it would not.

The DEV's really only have to mock up a GUI, its not hard or time consuming. Unfortunately for them they have many many thing sthey have to work on at the moment, some of which are not so easy.

I would actually hope they could fix the stats that are in the game now. In solo leagues the team stats get all screwed up. I love stats so this sort of thing kills of immersion for me and drives me up the wall.

I wish I could just make the AI play one another instead of simulating matches too. I undertsnad this would take ages, but I don't have a problem leaving my computer on during the day and letting the AI go nuts. The simulation is better then in BB1, but it is still just a simulation. I intend to dig into the python files and see how it is being calculated. I am a little reticent as if it is too bad it will completely kill off any sense of playing a league for me.

Hope that answers your questions. (Even if I got a little sidetracked).

My Solo League DEV list (not in order):

1. Team stats work properly for AI teams
2. Individual player stats and HOF
3. AI games played not simulated switch
4. Customizer for the solo leagues : Turn Length, Difficulty (E,M,H), Race Selection.

All of those things could be done pretty quickly IMO, but given the work load the devs have ATM may take some time or perhaps never make it in.

Yes I was a little to enthousiastic, I want to play the game, but also wait for the stats to be in, but if they never come...
Answulf Sep 27, 2015 @ 12:57pm
They are definitely coming, that's why they are being tracked. We are all just still beta-testing this stealth early access game, so who knows when.
