Quick question about halftime

Been trying to figure this out but can't find a solid answer anywhere. If you have possession of the ball and the game rolls into halftime, does it automatically get passed over to the other team? Or how does this work? Thanks!

First half team A gets the ball. Second half team B gets the ball. Nothing changes that.

After half time the team that defended first kick off is on offence

Whoever is the kicker at the start of the game, first turn of the first half, becomes the reciever at the begining of the second half. Doesn't matter who had the ball at the end of the first half or who kicked last in the first half.
