Rotating camera view
Probably already answered somewhere, but how do you rotate the camera for a better view?, and How/can you put the grid over the pitch, like the old versions of the game?

Haha, you can't! What you thought just because a feature was in the first game it'd be included in the sequal?

No rotation. There are two angles and zoom only.

Lol, I do not hold Cyanide, in hgh regard, to be frank I have no regard for them at all, but yes I thought rotating the camera, would be in the game, and surely the grid, cannot be hard to implement?

Can you switch between the angles? if so how, thanks

The grid I actually don't think is really needed - the new pitch and UI makes it easy to play without, imho. Certainly I haven't found myself missing it. Still, couldn't hurt for them to add it as an option.

Camera rotation isn't something I'd ever use, personally, but again I don't see why they couldn't add it.

Options or [C] to switch between the BB2 camera angle and the BB1 camera angle.

The grid is absolutely needed. Why take away the convenience of being able to overlay a grid view onto the grid based gameboard you're playing on? As it stands its stupid.

I think the reason its not implemented is it'd be difficult to map the grid overlay toggle to a controller, like much of this games design features were cut for console convenience.

Needed for what, exactly? Again, not saying they shouldn't add it as an option, but I really haven't found myself ever needing it. And if you do, just select a player and their movement range display effectively shows the grid.

Planning. I spend most of my opponent's turn counting squares and possibilities. Combine the fact that the camera auto-moves to the player my opponent has connected with the fact that there is no grid and it gets frustrating.

For when you've got a MA10 Gutter runner with sprint and you'd like to count your thirteen spaces to the end zone in advance without having to try and throw a block so you can see TZ's. This is going to become more and more apparent as a problem as people start playing the elf teams.

Fair enough. I was just curious, mainly - as I said, I have no issue with them adding it, just not really found myself missing it, personally.

Yes, please add the option to rotate the camera somewhat at least. I want to look at the pitch from MY preferred angle, not your preferred one. This game is in 3D after all!

mmhmm. With the game pads UI, you press start and select to change the view from bb2 style to bb1. They could just as easily addd another option in the menu for grid on/off. How would doing that on a console have anything to do with the number of buttons? it wouldn't

if you zoom in and zoom out it alters the angle and you can also see the pitch from either side. Sure a rotating camera would be better but what the game has works just fine.
