& will only over ride the skills wrestle, fend & stand firm so block will still work for the
opposing player. so unless your jugg player also had block ignoring the push ignore
vs a block player while selecting both down would result in a turnover against you.
have i read the situation right?
Block/Juggs is useful vs Wrestle as it cancels wrestle whether you use Juggs or not, and if you choose to not use it you can now use Block against what is effectively an unskilled (no Block, Wrestle cancelled) player.
oh! - that i did not know. So just having the skill neutralises wrestle?
The logic is that you'll never NOT want to cancel wrestle, as it just means he cannot choose to use wrestle, so he'll go down and you won't. You can still choose to take the both down and not the push, but then he can't choose to use wrestle. It saves a dialogue that would just about never be useful. (it's not 'just having the skill', it's having the skill and blitzing with the guy who has it)
Only true if your player has Jugg & Block. Otherwise you'll both hit the floor & it'll be a turnover.
I've chosen not to use Wrestle many times, but ofc never vs a player with Block.
Jugg alone would not give you immunity from the turnover.
Well this is why i was interested in Dode's post - previously i'd believed the same as you
(only ever triggered on a blitz action alone) - but the actual wording of the jugg skill in the LRB6
is a bit awkward & open to 2 possible interpretations.
Crystal clear.
It is only ever triggered on a Blitz action. I don't think I've suggested otherwise.
