Campaign Tutorial Skip?
Is there some way I can skip the Mickey Mouse tutorial matches of the SP campaign and get straight to playing proper BB? It's a bit tedious having to spend several hours learning a game that I already know how to play ...

I think you can just quit and then all the main options are open. I think I played the first game quit and then had it all available.

Hi Ethelred, which main options are you referring to?

Just join a solo league. You don't need to do the campaign.

Ok, I'll give that a try. The campaign mode looked interesting though and I was hoping I could skip past the tutorials.

Its pretty much all one tutorial. It has interesting matches in it, but it pretty much leaves out kickoff events the whole time, gives you Star Players for free (so that you have a decided advantage) and does other things that aren't part of a regular game. Its fun, but its pretty much a big tutorial.

Ok, thanks, I appreciate the info. I had assumed there would be a more substantial SP game after the tutorial, but if not I'll ignore it and look at the league option.

It's good for newbies like me, though. Each game introduces one or two new things to concentrate on.

I do wish there were other, non-tutorial SP campaigns you could graduate to after you get done with the Reavers, though.

I can see how it would be useful for players that are new to Blood Bowl - after all, it is a fairly complex game (with all the skills, different players, inducements, etc). Although, I would prefer it to be more clearly marked as a tutorial, if that's what it really is.

Anyway, I took darthphysicist's advice and made a solo league. Works great - just what I wanted! I can play a league in my own time vs a bunch of AI teams and develop my players, etc. Nice :-)
