Goblin Artillery:Throwing Goblins at the Enemy
I saw this work once in BB 1, any vets around who know if you can make this work?
I want my Orc team's Troll to just launch goblins at people. Not like infiltrating enemy lines or transporting the ball, I mean literally hitting enemy players with Goblins. Take that!

Ideally, it should be able to damage people, but I haven't been able to yet. I don't know if it's because I keep missing and I just need more skills, or if it's just not a thing in this game. But he always just lands next to them.

I know it's a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ build but I think it would be fun. Give him Pro, Strong Arm, and if I can maybe Accurate.

It does work in BB2, I have a troll on my primary Orc team who makes his living tossing gobbo missiles at people. It doesn't work very often but when it does it's totally hilarious. If you're going to go for it, best bet that I've found working for me is to aim the gobbo at clusters of the other guy's players rather than trying to snipe out a single guy in the open. If he's got 3-5 guys standing in a general area(like a cage for example) toss a gobbo at the center dude and hope you are accurate or get a good scatter.

Throw team mate always scatters three times, even when accurate, that means there's about 4% chance of hitting the square you are aiming for and strangely 5% for each square around, so if you are sniping, aim next to the player, you give yourself about 20% more chance to hit! Although obviously still very unlikely (I did it in a game recently though...gobo took out ball carrier picked up ball and ran it back to thier hapf)

But if you are aiming at the middle of a classic cage you've got about 25% chance of hitting someone...

I can't remember what happens after they've hit someone, I'm pretty sure in the old rules they scatter and if there's someone else in that square they hit them too... So with a ruck a gobo thrown in the middle could take out many players.... Alternatively with some luck you could take out the ball carrier and other parts of the cage.

There is a star player (I don't know if it's in BB2) but he throws bombs at people. You can hire him as an Orc player.

Nice! I'll keep that in mind. I was definitely trying to snipe players rather than aiming at groups.

As for that star player, I haven't seen him, and I did browse through them. I end up taking the Troll without Really Stupid a lot of times when I have inducements to spare.

Dribble snot, he's not in bb2, but he'll be great when combined with that stadium upgrade that gets you 50k of star players... As he's 60k! :))

You only hit the first player.

If the final square he scatters into is occupied by another player, treat the player landed on as Knocked Down and roll for Armour (even if already Prone or Stunned), and then the player being thrown will scatter one more square. If the thrown player would land on another player, continue to scatter the thrown player until he ends up in an empty square or off the pitch (i.e., he cannot land on more than one player). See the Right Stuff entry to see if the player lands on his feet or head-down in a crumpled heap!

So dribblesnot is trash and here's why: you can't reliably reroll the fumble. The gobo bomber on the gobo team is much better because he can reroll the fumble and you have a chance to level him, get doubles, then take HMP. He still sucks though...

Unfortunately, trolls are terrible at throwing. Trees at least have strong arm and ogres get to throw cheap ass snots which are good for little else, but if your gonna throw, do it with Ripper or Morg since they don't have Stupid or Really Hungry. With an ag 4 gobo, suddenly a 1TTD becomes doable.

Is this lrb6? He should keep hitting people. In CE I flattened a cage of amazons with a snotling.

Pretty much my only motivation to play as Orcs is to make the troll work.
Currently through Troll Artillery. I have to believe in Cyanide that they would put this in for a reason!
(also for funsies)

Orcs are awesome. Not sure how to read this.

Yeah, but for 10k?

Even for 60k dribblesnot was more use to the ork team than a babe... just don't stand him near any of your own players! :-) basically a free fireball every turn... or at least the threat of a free fireball that will affect your opponent.
