Take block sure hands next and use him to pick up the ball.
You can then keep your ghouls higher up the pitch where they are more usefull and hand off to them if needed.
I think Val has forgotten Skellies are AG2.
Kick is also good if you don't have one
I haven't forgotten, i just have a few different ideas :) an ag 3 skeleton is just as good at picking up the ball as an ag 3 ghoul. I have played khemri enough to know that you can use an ag2 skeleton as carrier if you really like!
You could easily pass on the +ag and it would not be a mistake. If you are going to take it then you need a reason to do it, ball carrier is the only value you will get out of it, if that doesn't suit you then pass on it.
Having an extra AG3 with regenerate comes in very handy when you have a mng ghoul or lose 1 early from bad luck. Ghould are the most vulnerable players in the game so I like to have a backup plan if possible.
They are crap. ;)
No, fend is probably the best choice actually.
But if you really want to make a great player then pass block works wonders on MA5 AG2 players too.
1st skill should be either dirty player or block/wrestle depending on which you prefer. Doubles are always guard.
Stats should be skipped entirely, even +ST, though I'd take +ST on a zombie, but AV7 really renders it much less useful.
2nd skill should be FIRE unless they got/get a double.
You can play around with stuff like dauntless/tackle/fend if you want, it won't make them terrible, but it doesn't really make your team markedly better for the TV hit either.
Unless you play in a league (scheduled nominally) in which case TV hits don't matter nearly so much, but you should understand the meta of your league and take daunt/tackle accordingly depending on what kinds of teams you face mostly.
Taking it soo hard
It would be the equivalent of taking +1MA and Thick Skull on a Zombie.
That's not to say I'd take it, ofc...
But there is occasional value in +AV for some players, still for line fodder it's of dubious merit just due to the overall cost relative to the base cost. 30k on a 40k base is 75% more TV. Now if it's guard it's very arguably worth it, if it's just +AV then it's still a 'skilless' player who costs 70k.
