BB2 in Win 11 not loading *Solved*

*UPDATE* - Thanks to assistance from The Cyanide Team, the fix was to remove the config file from within \Documents\BloodBowl2\config.xml forcing the game to generate a new one. Upon first reload it does take a while, but now working as intended.

I've just tried using BB2 for the first time since upgrading to Windows 11 and it doesn't seem to start. It loads the initial splash screen then at the point it would go full screen it stops. Anyone else having the same issue?

*Edit* trying an uninstall / reinstall to see if that fixes it. No joy.

If anyone else is finding the same issues please let me know, also if you use the Microsoft feedback option you can up-rate my feedback to give it higher priority for investigation.

Hi, I’m also having this issue - I’ve tried updating drivers and also deleting ‘config’ just tries to go full screen and crashes out. Has anyone come up with any other solutions?

Only other thing to suggest is a full wipe and reinstall and ensure the files in that location are all deleted before reinstalling.

Thanks! I actually found the problem! In my case it was that I didn't have a mouse attached which is required even if you're using a controller!

Yep, been playing it on Windows 11 for a long time. BB3 out next week though 😁
