Multi-Block and Jump Up?
OK, let's talk about the Dark Elf Assassin!

Yes, I know that he is a "trash player" and "totally worthless against a good amount of teams." However, I decided to roster one and he rolled double 2s for his first level up, so why not Multi-Block? If I want to give him jump-up for next level, can I use both skills together? I know that Multi-Block can't be used with blitz, and I can't find anything going against using both, but I want to make sure. Thanks in advance.

Iirc, Jump Up lets you block and use skills as normal, so I think that combo works like that. Though admitedly I am not 100% sure.

In retrospect, making a quick Custom Team and playing an AI game would let me know, but that requires the AI to respond in an appropriate way, which is rather unlikely honestly

Jump Up lets you use all skills and actions as normal, except for a Block Action.

- You can stand up and move normally your full movement.
- You can stand up and Blitz up to your full movement.
- You can stand up and Dodge away up to your full movement.

- However, if you decide to Block an adjacent opponent, you must roll 2+. Failure means you stay down.

Jump Up (Agility) A player with this skill is able to quickly get back into the game. If the player declares any Action other than a Block Action he may stand up for free without paying the three squares of movement. The player may also declare a Block Action while Prone which requires an Agility roll with a +2 modifier to see if he can complete the Action. A successful roll means the player can stand up for free and block an adjacent opponent. A failed roll means the Block Action is wasted and the player may not stand up.

Multiple Block (Strength) At the start of a Block Action a player who is adjacent to at least two opponents may choose to throw blocks against two of them. Make each block in turn as normal except that each defender's strength is increased by 2. The player cannot follow up either block when using this skill, so Multiple Block can be used instead of Frenzy, but both skills cannot be used together. To have the option to throw the second block the player must still be on his feet after the first block. This skill is overrated.

The jump up skill clearly says "Block Action" and would permit the use of Multiple Block.

Huh? You don't need to involve the AI. Just make custom teams and play against yourself. Friendly Match->Switch opponent to Human. Since I'm curious myself, I'm going to see if this combo is working properly.

I suppose if you're taking a bloaty player and adding bloaty skills that are purely situational, then why not go whole hog? Wait till we play DMan...

I didn't know that you could play a game with both teams controlled by myself, intersting. Also, thanks Darth

If Mighty Blow could stack with Stab, I could see it. Stab lands so rarely that I feel Guard would be more useful on an Assassin if you must take a Strength skill over Multi.B.

I've tried the Multi-Block + Stab on the TT before and he ended up getting blitzed and erased from the table and later the roster.

I tested it, and yes it is working properly. You select "Multiple Block" while the Assassin is grounded, then select "Stab", then click the first stab victim. It will test for Jump Up at this point, and then go for the first Stab. Then it asks for the second Block target, and you have to be sure to select stab again before you pick the next guy or you'll throw a normal block. Then you do your second stab. So yes, Jump Up is working correctly with Multiple Block and Stab.
