Some notes on Eternal League

So, I'm trying to get the level 7 player and max level Stadium achievements and I figure that Eternal League is my best bet for doing that. I'm on the spring season (Blood Bowl qualifiers) now and I've noticed a couple of things.

1) It doesn't use any of the teams from previous seasons. So it comes up with all new teams with artificially advanced team values.
B) It spends all that team value on SPP and leveling players. None that I've seen ever have any fan factor, and not very many have an apothecary. I've got an 11 fan factor, plus apoth, so that's 160 TV I'm giving up vs more SPP for the other guys.
III) By some strange coincidence, my TV is around 120-130 more than all the other teams. So they've got almost as many skilled players, plus can get inducements.

Fall season, I was playing the Chaos Cup and my first two matches were against Halfling teams, with TV <1000, mine is hanging around 1650, so that's almost 700K in inducements. Which of course they spend on a Halfling Chef and steal all my rerolls. Even the Orc team I played in the finals only had a TV of ~1300. Even the flingin' flangin' Orcs bought a Halfling Chef and stole all my rerolls. All 5 halves (first game went into overtime) I had a max of 2 rerolls, most halves was only the 1 RR from Leader.

and yet, it's still pretty straight forward to beat them consistently. I particularly enjoy repeatedly removing the stars they buy.

Doesn't matter.

Even the most mediocre player can beat the AI no problem.

Those who can't are waaaaay below mediocre.

just keep plugging away bud. It isnt that hard, while it is a challenge once you start getting artificially inflated due to stadium savings. This screenie is me completing both achievements at once, with less than 100 hrs experience at the time, with of all things super bloated goblins. My last few games i was up 500tv as goblins vs all the strongest teams. As mentioned in this thread though, the ai is terrible and will mess up more than enough to make up for their HUGE advantage

Yeah, I know. It would be nice though if the challenge came from the AI playing better, and not from artificially low TV shenanigans.

Geeze, not only does it not create new teams correctly, it doesn't level them up either. How can a team that won 5 games in a row still have a 0 Fan Factor?

Consider it a buff for the AI, more inducements they don't know how to use!
